Description

The Flora Series is the O.G. hydroponic-based nutrient system that consists of FloraMicro, FloraBloom, and FloraGro. By using these products, you can help fulfill your plants’ nutrient needs at every stage of growth. FloraMicro is the "building block" of the Flora Series. It provides nitrogen, calcium, and trace minerals, which are essential for a comprehensive hydroponic plant diet. FloraBloom contains phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and sulfur - all nutrients that help encourage flower and fruit development. FloraGro provides structural and foliar growth by adding additional nitrogen and potassium. You can adjust how much or when to use each nutrient to create your own personal recipe. Always start with a reservoir filled with water, then add the concentrated nutrients one by one. It's best to begin by adding FloraMicro, stirring well, and then adding FloraGro and/or FloraBloom. If both FloraGro and FloraBloom are used, add one, stir well, then add the other. When you use the Flora Series, you can grow knowing primary, secondary, and micronutrients are being delivered to your plants to help feed the right nutrients, in the right ratios, to help plants flourish. Good things really do come in threes.

  • Reliable nutrient trio for strong hydroponic growth
Size: 1 gal Style: Flora Series Bundle
I’ve been using the General Hydroponics FloraSeries nutrient system for several grow cycles now, and overall I’m very satisfied with its performance. What I liked: -Complete 3-Part System: Having FloraMicro, FloraGro, and FloraBloom lets me tailor feeding throughout the plant life cycle — from vegetative growth to flowering. -Consistent Results: My plants have shown healthy vegetative growth and good bloom development when following the recommended ratios. -Ease of Use: The directions are straightforward, and the bottles are easy to pour and measure with. -Versatility: Works well with various hydroponic setups, including NFT, DWC, and ebb-and-flow systems. What could be improved: -Requires Mixing & Monitoring: As a 3-part system, it takes a bit more measuring and planning than a single-bottle nutrient — but that’s typical for serious hydroponic formulas. -pH Adjustment Needed: I still needed to monitor and adjust pH after mixing to hit my target range, which adds a step to the routine. Overall: For anyone doing hydroponics — from beginner to experienced — the FloraSeries offers solid performance and flexibility. It’s a trusted staple that’s helped my plants stay vigorous and productive. ... show more

  • It works, this is how you do it, stop buying from grocery stores to feed your family!
Size: 1 quart Style: Flora Series Bundle
This stuff works and, myself and my seven year old daughter, have eaten vegetables I grew using it with a flavor that you cannot tell whether it was store bought or not, from the soil or not! Hydroponics has a learning curve but what is cool about this hydroponic solution is that it dissolves quickly with a little stirring! You can mix several gallons quickly and spend less time waiting for the nutrients to dissolve unlike granular hydroponic solutions. This is important especially if you are tasked with making 5 gallons or more of nutrient solution. You want to just mix it and pour it! I have used this stuff with all phases of vegetable growth following the instructions and have not had ANY issues! It blows my mind to see my vegetables grow and I dont have to water them every day! Also, I have poured the solution at the base of soil grown vegetables with good results... usually because I have left-over solution I don't want to waste! This is how I make 1 gallon of this stuff: 1. One gallon tap water 2. Five ml of each container (flora micro first, flora gro 2nd, then flora bloom last). Shake flora containers before using and shake the gallon jug after adding each flora nutrient to the 1 gallon container. 3. Add 10 ml of 3% "food grade" hydrogen peroxide (you can buy it here on amazon) per gallon. I do this to boost oxygen levels to fight off algae and it helps a bit with mesquites trying to breed in the water if your containers are outside and the container has air holes for ventilation (or just put screens over your holes). 4. Add .75 ml (that is just under one ml) of PH DOWN per 1 gallon... which you can also buy on amazon. 5. Go pour your solution in the primary container holding your plant! Just remember that when your plants get to the stage of fruiting and making actual vegetables, they will suck the solution up like crazy (not to mention natural evaporation if your holding containers are exposed to the sun all the time). You can just add regular tap water the first time the water level drops and evey other time, just add more nutrient solution as you go! Try to avoid letting the water go too low all the way to the bottom of your containers. It stresses your plants! Essentially, you will be adding water then solution on a three day cycle if you monitor it well during the fruiting stages. Overall, this stuff is AMAZING and I LOVE eating my cucumbers and tomatoes I grew and didn't have to buy at a grocery store! Remember, you do not need dozens of plants to feed your family. Just think in terms of "2s"! Feeding one person? Grow two tomato plants, two cucumber plants, etc. Feeding a family of four? Eight plants will give excess! Go sell the extras or give it to neighbors! Oh, this stuff lasts FOREVER too! Knowing this, it is a good idea to consider growing indoors with grow lights and warmth for winter months! ... show more

  • Reliable 3-Part Nutrient System for Hydroponics
Size: 1 quart Style: Flora Series Bundle
I’ve been using this for a few months in my hydroponic setup and pots and the results have been excellent. The three-part system gives me precise control over nutrient levels at different stages of plant growth. My plants look healthier, with vibrant leaves and strong root development. Mixing is straightforward, and the labels provide clear guidance for beginners and experienced growers alike. Pros: Complete 3-part system allows stage-specific feeding Easy to mix and use Produces healthy, vigorous plants Reliable and consistent results Cons: Slight learning curve for beginners when calculating ratios Requires proper storage to maintain effectiveness Overall, this nutrient series is a dependable choice for hydroponic gardeners. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for flexible, high-quality nutrients that support strong growth from start to finish. ... show more

  • Takes a little effort but the results are worth it
Size: 1 quart Style: Flora Series Bundle
I picked this 3-part nutrient system to step up my plant setup, and it’s been a noticeable upgrade compared to basic fertilizers. The plant suitability is really impressive. I’ve used it on a mix of plants, and everything from early growth to later stages seems to respond well. I noticed stronger roots and more consistent growth once I got the ratios dialed in. The concentration is pretty strong, which is a good thing. You don’t need to use a lot each time, so the bottles last longer than you’d expect. Once I figured out the right amounts, it felt efficient and not wasteful. The bottle size is a good middle ground. It’s enough to last through multiple uses without taking up too much space, and it feels like a solid starter size before committing to larger quantities. The instructions are actually helpful, especially if you’re newer to this kind of setup. There is a bit of a learning curve with mixing three parts, but once you follow the guide a couple times, it becomes routine. The ease of use is decent overall, but it does require a bit more attention than single-bottle options. Measuring and mixing takes a few extra minutes, but you get more control in return. The appearance is clean and straightforward. The bottles are clearly labeled, and it’s easy to tell which one you’re using without mixing them up. The durability of the packaging feels solid. The bottles seal well and don’t leak, which is important when storing them long term. I did notice you still need to keep an eye on pH levels separately, so it’s not completely hands-off, but that’s expected with something like this. For the price, the value for money is really good, especially considering how concentrated it is and the results you get. Overall, this is a reliable and flexible system that gives you more control over plant growth, and once you get used to it, it’s hard to go back to simpler options. ... show more

  • Great product, but be careful in your choice of distributors Great product, but be careful in your choice of distributors
Size: 1 gal Style: Flora Series Bundle
The product is great, if it arrives. Not sure how Amazon manages who gets to sell you the product, but when they picked Grow Green MI to be the lucky vender, I received two out of three gallons and Grow Green MI customer service never bothered to read the tracking information on the shipment wherein the shipper reported that the package was damaged and disposed of. After Amazon took down my review because they find my complaint focused on the misfortune, rather than the fault of the vender, I have now revised my review to specify that Grow Green MI does provide horrid customer service and cannot be counted on to handle a transaction from end to end. Amazon appears to have removed Grow Green MI as a potential vendor of this product, but you should double check who the vender is before purchasing. General Hydroponics makes a great product, but should take care in deciding who is allowed to distribute it. Follow the directions carefully and you will get great results. ... show more

  • Pro-Grade Nutrient Trio That Grows Strong, Healthy Plants
Size: 1 pint Style: Flora Series Bundle
This FloraSeries Advanced Nutrient System from General Hydroponics is the real deal for serious gardeners. I ran it on both hydroponic and soil setups, and the plants responded noticeably better than plain all-purpose fertilizers. The three-part system (FloraGro, FloraBloom, FloraMicro) lets you dial in ratios through all growth stages — vegetative, transition, and flower/fruiting — so you aren’t stuck with a one-size-fits-all feed that only kind of works. Mixing is simple if you follow the feed chart. I kept EC and pH in range (5.8–6.2) with normal adjustments and had vigorous growth without nutrient lock-ups or deficiencies. Leaf color stayed rich, and buds/fruits were dense and healthy in my hydroponic grow. For anyone serious about performance — whether hydroponic, soil, or coco — this system is robust and flexible. Not magic, but science-based and consistent. ... show more

Great nutrients. I may have ordered too large of volume. Wonder if they will hold up under storage. Anyone have experience with storage. Using an aero garden so I don't need much.

  • Great as a stand alone base nutrients, or with supplements.
Size: 1 quart Style: Flora Series Bundle
This order was flawless. Its good to see GH got a better Amazon distributor. GrowGreenMichigan really dropped the ball last year. Almost like they didn't want to work over there. Get 2 out of 3 of the products you ordered. I used them last year, and ended up with plant deficiency waiting on product. That never came. This time Amazon and new Distributor kept train on tracks. The Flora Trio is a FANTASTIC base nutrients combo. You can really dial in with these. It works Great! I ordered the quart bottles this time. Next time im ordering the gallon bottles. ... show more
