  • A ‘get you where you need to be’ tire ! Any time of year!
Size: 245/60R-18
I have an SUV (AWD) where we live out in a remote location on our farm. Snow is a travel inhibiting factor in winter here and our farm is quite steep in a few locations. I needed a set of tires that would be relatively quiet on a dry road but also a great snow tire for winter. Since I am a designer myself, I look at product design for intended purpose and usage. After studying many tires for my specific use, I decided on these Generals for my SUV and they are PERFECT !! If you need to get where you’re going winter or summer, snow or mud or rain, these tires WILL get you there! Just a VERY WELL DESIGNED tire and at a GREAT price on Amazon. I had ordered the same exact set of tires from Walmart in Georgetown, Ky but, after a month of waiting, they NEVER arrived. DON’T order Anything from Walmart.com!! Chances are you’ll never get it! Amazon came thru on deliver in about 4 days. Thanks so much to Amazon for getting me my much needed tires! I highly recommend these tires! General is a long established tire manufacturer with some of the best tires on the market today. Buy with confidence. ... show more

  • Great tires!
Size: 245/60R-18
We bought these tires in hope of getting up out massive tough dirt road. They were a great purchase. We have been able to get up no problem and they were cheaper than going anywhere else to buy them.

  • Far Too Loud for Average Performance in 98% of Driving Scenarios
Size: 245/60R-18
These are the tires that came on my 2024 Ridgeline Trailsport. They are extraordinarily loud compared to any AT tire I've had (including BFGs, Kumho AT52s, and Goodyear Wranglers). Additionally, they do not keep the vehicle stable in emergency high speed slow downs (like when someone cuts you off on the highway changing lanes) and are brutally stiff (which is more the fault of Honda for cost-cutting the suspension on Ridgelines so much it feels like a lowered Civic). Changing from these to a set of Pirelli all-season take-off tires completely resolved the noise and enough of the harshness that I no longer want to sell the Ridgeline. I realize I lose some "off-road" capability, but that consists of a rock driveway and maybe on occasion a forest road that my Lexus LS430 can drive over (more smoothly, I might add). ... show more

  • Flimsy Crap tire
Size: 245/60R-18
The media could not be loaded. Weak construction. Tried these on my Ridgeline over the falken AT Trail because I liked the look of the tread. Grip was good but.... Had them less than three months. First trip on a Forest road, pop! A rock chunked right through the tread. Been down that forest road many times before and never had a puncture. Examining the tire, I can tell you that it is very soft and flexible. Probably fine for street use. But way too flimsy for actual use on a forest road. General refused to warranty them because I had it patched so i could get out of the forest on a Sunday. Never buying another tire from General tire or parent company Continental. Back to Falken tires for me. ... show more
