It was the correct part. Just didn't come with instructions on how to set it up. And the stop pins on both mattering valves wasn't in the package.

it took me 4 weeks to have it installed. first time starting was not supportive. after adjusting another regulator before this one. it still is leaking passed the regulator! even after dialing below running and the generator stops. it is still wasting fuel into the environment. id like for a response! its beyond having someone remove and replace!!!!!!!!! very dissatisfied! ... show more

    • OEM Regulator
My generator backfired and dented one of the diaphragms in the original regulator. That caused a flooding problem and hot restart problems with the generator. I ordered this regulator to replace the original. It was very easy to install and took only 20 minutes after removing the battery to access the regulator. The regulator was preset at the factory for the correct fuel mixture and needed no adjustment once installed. The generator picked up the prime instantly and no longer has a hot restart problem. ... show more
