Gemini review WPX-2000TOGO Unpacking took longer than actual setup of the speaker itself. Out of the box was 75% battery charged so it was ready to go right away. My purpose for this is to use for small guitar/vocal performances, or music/announcements for a party/event and having this battery powered is huge when power could be a problem at places. Was lighter than I expected for the subwoofer part and the spacers/speaker weigh close to nothing. I plugged in the included microphone and was broadcasting after turning the volume knobs up, that was it for that. BT pairing was simple, one click as it was in pairing mode as soon as I powered on the device. Music was playing within seconds. For the music, I enjoyed the deep bass sound, it’s what I expected. I then took my standard Shure SM58 and plugged directly into the channel 2, again no issue. (boost treble on the included EQ) Plugged my acoustic/electric guitar directly into channel 3. Plugged my bass guitar into the channel 3 as well, again no issues.2 Improvements if at all: For the spacers - would be good to have a little carry bag for them (like a speaker stand bag) , you could throw the power chord and microphone in there as well. So then you could just pick up the subwoofer, throw the carry bag over your shoulder and go to the gig. Wheels / carry handle. I have a Gemini party speaker as well and that has wheels and a pull up handle like a suitcase, very easy to move around. For a gig I would I be using a cart anyways so not a deal breaker. Overall: Highly recommend with the price point, makes a great mobile solution for power conferences or issues at gigs. ... show more

I recently got this speaker and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It's an exceptional value, delivering performance that rivals much pricier models. Setup was incredibly simple, thanks to its portable design and pre-charged battery—ready to use right away. The bass is rich, especially noticeable at lower volumes, which might be intense for some, but it truly shines at higher volumes or outdoors. With football season coming, this speaker is great for tailgating. Weighing about 35 lbs and packing up to 1200 watts, it’s like getting a subwoofer for half the cost and less bulk. The built-in 3-channel mixer is a fantastic feature, and the Bluetooth and TWS capabilities are a great bonus. First of all I got to say that the box the sistem came in it was teared apart like someone did it on purpose to remove a extension from the speaker which they did , I could believe I got a box in that condition since the seller don’t reinforce the box it’s a simple thin cardboard , second of all, I plugged in the speaker to check if works and an strange smelll is coming out of the unit besides an buzzing sound, physically I didn’t see any damage to the unit but internally is , so I contacted the seller to see what are my options in this case but they didn’t offer a solution since I already threw the box cause it was totally destroyed, so I’m stucked with this defective item , now I’m gonna see what Amazon can do to help me ... show more

I have used this in several different settings such as an outdoor Roll-A-Thon and a outdoor wedding ceremony to name a few. It has been great and I have gotten lots of compliments on it. It gets plenty loud and the sound quality is good. The battery life seems great as I used it for 2 different events without charging it. I picked up a USB powered wireless mic system that is powered by the USB on the unit which has been very useful. I would recommend this speaker. ... show more

EDIT: 5 Stars for Gemini customer care! After posting my review below, the seller reached out and let's just say they went way above and beyond to make me whole. This level of customer service is very rare and I appreciate it very much. I really wanted to love this line array pa. I received this shortly before leaving for an extended trip, so I didn't open the box until after the return window. Otherwise it would have gone back the next day. Guitars sound great, clear and full spectrum sound. The fatal flaw however is that the vocals come through very muffled sounding. I'm using quality equipment Sure SM-58 Microphone. I can clean the vocals up by attaching a small powered mixer to boost the signal. Then the sound is fine. This flaw in the sound makes this less of a convenient solution to a quick battery powered set up for a one man gig. The bluetooth connections works well and the speaker sounds great streaming music. It does get plenty loud. I don't like how the controls are on the back of the unit. It make it hard to dial in your sound because you cant see what you are doing. Top controls are always better. The "reverb" is actually an echo that sounds pretty bad if you layer on a lot on the knob. In this case, "less is more". Again, vocals on either channel sound like you are talking through a pillow. Lets see if the manufacturer reaches out if my situation is unusual. Perhaps I got a lemon, who knows. ... show more

Bought this to travel with this overseas for a conference and will probably be buying another one to keep stationary! Tremendous sound, the charge lasted a very long time, we were very impressed for the cost of this. Were able to compact it into a suitcase along with mic stands and a travel music stand and kept it under 50 pounds. Very impressed with the quality and the travel ability of this in weight. I love it. Purchased two for ceremonies because they pair up and don't require plugging in. The range for Bluetooth is pretty decent and they are pretty loud as well. Because they're small, they're very light. The only bad thing I is they don't come with a bag to carry the columns in...that part sucks!! ... show more
