I have a much more expensive pair of powered speakers in the living room. But I wanted something my husband could use for backing tracks when playing guitar and when he is painting. He likes music to set the mood because it influences the look and feel of his work. So I got him these. This is the smaller 8” woofer version. The speakers are quite large to accommodate midrange and tweeter speaker cones. They are not particularly heavy and, despite the bulkiness, have convenient handles built into the shape of the large center speaker with controls and the two side speakers. They make the components easy to carry around. We did have one problem. There is a bezel inside the grill of the center speaker and it popped out. It’s the one bad thing that I have to mention because it is thin metal or plastic and vibrates when you turn the volume up. Sound quality wise, they are good for the price. They don’t sound like they have a huge amount of bass. But there is enough to feel it through our hardwood floor. There are no equalizer controls, but there are a handful of EQ pre-sets. You can usually find something that sounds decent. I had no problem with rock, metal and 80’s, 90’s pop music. Sound quality varies depending on what your source is. Bluetooth works fine but the limitations of Bluetooth mean the sound doesn’t quite have the full body of hooking up via an Aux cable. Bluetooth is very convenient though especially when there is a slot in the center speaker that will hold your tablet of phone upright like a monitor. If you do Karaoke, it’s going to make for a great autocue to read the lyrics from. There are two mic inputs with some reverb effect to make your voice sound more professional. My husband uses it with amp and effects modelling software from his guitar and likes it. It also has the cute LED lights to add some ambient lighting effects in a darkened room. Kind of fun, and one setting reacts to the music’s frequencies. Overall, it would have been a pretty decent system for the money if not for the bezel issue. A shame because it’s obvious that despite being made to an affordable price point, some effort went into the design, fit and finish. Maybe we were unlucky. I’d check other reviews and see if anyone else has had the same problem with the bezel. Aside from that, it’s good

When I saw the size of this system, I got really excited for the potential sound that would come from it. Although it does get sort of loud, I think I was expecting something with a more supported bass sound. The bass is not really that strong, even though the system looks like it would support it. However, as a karaoke machine, this system is hard to beat. I love the actual design, which is ultra modern and sleek. As it's not a huge system, I like that I can double this as my home theater system and it pairs really well with my samsung tv and my iPhone. The party feature of the Gemini Sound is one of the most fun aspects. I've used this several times and it's always a crowd pleaser. My friends love it and it makes our karaokes so much more fun. Because it's pretty compact, it actually travel pretty well, and bringing it to my friend's places has been no problem and it pairs well with all of their different systems; so it's versatility speaks for itself here! If you like a system that gets pretty loud, and you're not too focused on the bass, then I think this one is pretty good! It's not the most perfect system but I think it's pretty good!

I’m not gonna spend a whole Lotta time on this the fact is this is a cheap plastic speaker set up with inferior components and a very low build quality shell. It’s mostly empty space. It’s much bigger than it has to be with low quality wires connecting the speakers to the center unit. This is just not good quality audio equipment.
