  • Quality is great
Pattern Name: A2- Medium Almond 240pic
This was my first time using gel x type nails, and let me tell you, I’m in love. Great off-brand. They feel so light weight and comfortable on my fingers but also feel sturdy. They are pretty easy to glue on, you do have to hold the nail down for about 15 seconds so it can slightly stick before putting it under your blue light. This was harder to do on my right hand, since I’m a little shaky. But if your light allows you to, you can hold it down and secure it underneath the blue light for a few seconds first. I highly recommend these if you are on tour own nail journey and want a fresh and professional looking mani. People keep complimenting my nails and saying they look professionally done, which is really boosting my ego but I have to give the credit to these tips they are so easy to paint! The length is a mid longer than I expected for medium length, but they were pretty easy to file down! And the shape is great, and you can file to make more slender if needed. Enjoy :) ... show more

  • Great nails with the right glue
Pattern Name: A1- Short Almond
I ordered the short almond shape and glued them on with the UV glue they offer. I've had them on for 10 days already and they have not broken off and have not been snagging my hair. To make them work as intended I would get their glue with theses nails and make sure you put enough glue or else they will snag your hair like when acrylics begin to lift. I'm new to putting nails on, I usually just do my own gels. These have held the gel color very well, I do recommend buffing the nail tip before adding any gel so it lasts longer. Overall I'm very happy with the nail tips and the glue, it just takes practice. ... show more

  • Perfect for me!!
Pattern Name: B2- Medium Coffin
I used to have long coffin tips which I would have to cut down, but noticed when I did so that it would flatten the C-curve of the nail and make them lose their coffin shape and become a little more square. But these are the PERFECT length for someone who is used longer nails but not ~super~ long (and if you aren't, this length is very easy to adjust to. i wipe just fine ;) ) so I no longer have to compromise shape to get the length that is most comfortable for my lifestyle. These also come pre-buffed so they attach really well to the natural nail, and they remove the quickest out of any apres dupe i've tried (soak in acetone for 10 minutes, scrape, soak for another 5-10 minutes, scrape, and it's usually all gone. any left is thin enough that it can be buffed/filed off). I've been using tips for over a year now and with trial and error have found the best way to keep my nails on for 4+ weeks with little to no lifting: Before doing anything, size your nails to see which size tips you will need for each one. if you write down the size that each of your nails needs the first time you use them, it's unlikely your nail beds will change in size and you won't have to spend 10+ minutes sizing your nails each time you sit down to do these. 1. proper nail prep- push back/remove cuticles (any cuticle remover will work, sally hansen is a popular one), buff, nail dehydrater (there are lots of these on the market, i honestly just wipe some acetone on my nails and it seems to work? im not a licensed tech though lol), nail primer 2.cure glue on natural nails- i use the beetles nail glue for these, and i do NOT use base gel. most glue bottles will say a base is 'optional' but it saves so much time to not use it and i honestly found my nails were staying on better once i stopped using base. apply a relatively thin layer so that it can cure properly under a lamp. 3. prep the tips (this can also be done before steps 1 or 2)- buff or file the base of the tip to fit your nail bed. i have a skinny, rounded cuticle area and most tips come with a rounded square base, so i shape them to better fit my nail beds. 4. prime the tips- yes, i use primer on the tips (but only the part that will go on my nail). a little goes a long way, and i shake the tip vigorously for ~5 seconds so the primer dries before adding glue 5. apply glue to tip- do NOT be shy with the glue (within reason). I used to not put enough glue on in the name of avoiding excess glue pooling out under the tip, and then they would lift within days. it's MUCH better to avoid air bubbles and have slightly unattractive pools of cured glue under your nail than to end up with air bubbles that will cause lifting 6. invest in a small LED or UV flash cure lamp so you can cure the tips one at a time. after curing glue on each of my nails, i can turn on the flash cure lamp, apply glue to one tip at a time and hold the tip down on my nail under the light for about ~10 seconds. this will NOT completely cure it, but itll secure the tip to the nail well enough that you can complete the application process before completely curing under your regular lamp. if there is any glue that pools out of the sides of the tip, the flash cure lamp also cures the gel but it stays soft, so its easy to lift off with a cuticle pusher or clip off with a cuticle clipper (i find that the latter actually works really well) 7. buff the tip- this will help the polish stay on. you do not need to put base gel on the tips! oil does not accumulate on a plastic tip the way it does on a natural nail, so base gel is not necessary ... show more

  • Beautiful Nails
Pattern Name: A2- Medium Almond 240pic
These medium almond nails are nice and great look! However, I used the largest nail size 0 for my thumbs and it didn’t fit, the nail tip was too small and a few of the tips broke easy. The tips were very easy to use.

  • The best full coverage nail!
Pattern Name: B1- Medium Almond
I will start by saying, similarly to many other reviews, that the medium-almond length is a bit long to be considered medium length. So if you do not like long nails and want to be able to use a "medium" length nail immediately out of the box with no filing, this length may not be for you. However, I think a little extra filing is worth it considering what you get in return from this product. The quality of the material of the nail, the pre-etching, the number of nails you get, how the nails come in a neatly organized box and not in little plastic baggies.. all well worth the extra 10 minutes of filing in my opinion. I have used these tips, Beetles tips, and BTartbox tips, and NOTHING I have tried so far compares to these. The pictures are from the day I did my most recent set, 02/06/, and then 15 days later. 02/21/ I can easily get another 1-2 weeks out of these. The longest I have gone with 1 set using the Gelike tips was about 19 days with the original set, then I filed down the nails and did a "fill" using gel builder. Then they lasted another 11 days until I soaked them off. These are my go-to tips as they have never let me down. Helpful Tips: - Size the tips to each of your natural nails and write them down somewhere so you can reference each new set. This can cut back on prep time if you know the correct size each time. - Etch the inside of the artificial nail with a drill before you start natural nail prep(they come pre-etched, but I like to do a little extra etching) - WEAR A MASK so you don't inhale any of the dust particles( it's not pleasant, I speak from experience), especially when using a drill to file away gel before soaking off tips, If you can, invest in a nail dust catcher. Steps for longevity: - push back/trim cuticles - file and buff natural nails (dust away any debris with a brush) - apply nail dehydrator( I used the brand Morovan Professional) - apply nail primer( I used the brand Morovan Professional) - apply nail glue to your natural nail( I used Beetles nail glue) and cure it - apply the nail glue to the nail tip and flash cure to your natural nail; repeat on all fingers - cure both hands in nail lamp( I usually cure each hand for 90 seconds just to be sure) - file to desired shape and length - buff the artificial nail - apply gel base and cure - apply color(2-3 coats depending) and cure - apply top coat and cure - apply cuticle oil - Enjoy!! Sorry this was so long but I hope it helps! ... show more
