This is a large, durable grooming comb. It is very easy to use and clean. This is exactly what we wanted for our animals. It works great and the teeth are rounded at the end so it doesn’t irritate our animals skin when in use.

This works and probably does what it is supposed to, but I dislike how much it pulls my dogs coat. I have a two Pomeranians and I am not sure this is the best item to use while grooming them. I think it would work well on other coats but this seems to catch and tug more than I would like which does not happen with pur other grooming utensils.

I really thought the shape to this comb was pretty neat, and would be a welcome difference to my other greyhound combs which are all just straight across. There is no "better" option between them but this is simply for different things and serve different purposes for different dogs of varied sizes, shapes, hair types, etcetera. My normal standard greyhound combs are rather heavy in comparison to this one and I like this one better for face work and detail work, especially on some of the smaller dogs I see at my grooming salon. The tines are a little lighter and thinner as well though and therefore I do worry about possible breakage over time- but so far so good. Definitely get yourself one of these as a professional groomer it will be a nice tool to utilize and keep in your arsenal of grooming supplies, but also for smaller dogs at home this would be great too as a mat detector (get yourself an appropriate brush as well to keep your dog in good shape between grooming visits.)
