I really like this set! There's so many extras like gems and metallic strip tapes and great tools to apply them and prep your nail. The polish colors are pretty- the pink is very pink but the light pink/clear has a tiny bit of glitter. There is also a full glitter polish. The base coat and top coat work well and set very well. I usually run 1min under the light for each layer and 2min for the last top coat and it's set. I'm really rough on my nails and this kit helps protect them so well. I wash my hands a lot and wear gloves at work and this helps them from being brittle. I did also get a set for removing the polish - with the finger clips, thin cotton sheets, and the gentle scraper. It's Impossible to get this off otherwise. If you peel it, you might ruin your nail itself. With the removal kit, I can do removing and a new application myself in an evening. Next to no dry time! That's the best part for me, so I'm ok having a time getting it off. I am not skilled at nail polish at all but I'm having fun and this kit makes it so easy.

This is a positive review with two small caveats at the bottom. Admittedly, I've never really cared to get professional manicures (I've had my nails done at a salon four times in my life). I wish I was more into it because I think I'd take better care of my nails. When my cuticles get dry, I tend to pick at them, create hangnails, etc. Not great. With the pandemic, I saw a lot of folks trying at-home kits like these, so I thought I'd give it a go with the goal of simply taking better care of my hands/nails. When I finished this first go, it left me with the same feeling that I've had historically once I leave a salon—I actually enjoy looking at my nails. They feel pretty, professionally done, and I don't want to screw them up. The fact that this kit will last me awhile at the same price as a salon manicure is really great for me. I truly do recommend this kit—but also know this glowing review is coming from someone who doesn't get her nails done really ever. Caveats. The color that appears to be a deep burgundy came out to be more of a deep dusty rose for me. I truthfully didn't mind this because it's more of a wearable color to me. I imagine it would take quite a few coats to achieve that deep richness in the photo, but the kit directions even say to try and keep your coats thin to achieve success. The rest of the colors are pretty accurate to what's provided in the product shot. I painted the colors on the box I received for reference. The pink doesn't look great because it's rather sheer and just created a wet spot on the cardboard. And last note, it's really important to not let the polish pool where the nail meets the skin or paint on top of any dead cuticles. Both of these scenarios means that the polish is not fully adhered to the nail, so it may start to peel. It has been four days of wear for me with the nails still looking great, but I do have the slightest signs of the polish peeling where it had pooled a bit on one of my nails. This was a user error.

I was a little nervous trying an ”at home” gel polish kit. I really like this product. Really easy to use, beautiful nail colors and very nice end product. I followed the directions carefully and had no issues with tackiness. My nails seem to be just as nice as when I got them done at the salon. I will post again in 3 weeks regarding longevity and polish removal. The only negative was that the top coat burned a bit at first when I put my hands under the UV light. Probably because I was a little messy and got the topcoat on my cuticles. UPDATE: Its been one week and still no chipping or peeling! In fact, my nails had grown so long, I had to trim them and the polish still looks wonderful. The last two photos were taken 8 days after the first two photos. Just FYI, I have not doctored or altered these photos at all. Will update again next week.

I have so far fallen in love with this kit. The nail polishes last at least 2 weeks, and the kit is super easy to use. The lamp doesn't burn your hands like some of the uv lamps at the salon. My biggest tip with this kit (and like almost all gel polishes), is to USE THIN COATS. Use thin coats with the base coat, color, and top coats. If you set your base coat for 2 minutes, each color coat for 60 seconds, and do two layers of top coat with a curing time of 2 minutes for each top coat, your polish will last at least 2 weeks. I'd also recommend capping your nail polish on the tips. The only chipping I have experienced is at the very end/tips on thin nails, after doing some labor with my hands. In addition, the set comes with a ton of other nail tools (files, cuticle pusher, etc. Great value. Great set again, would highly recommend! I have bought other colors from the same Vishine brand to use with this lamp.

I LOVE this new kit that I treated myself with before the holidays. It really, really works! The light is fast and powerful but doesn't feel hot or dangerous. The colors it came with are nice. My manicure lasted about a week before I caught it on something (I seriously am rough on my hands-- I cook a lot, do handiwork/ DIY stuff, and have two kids) and peeled a bit off. I'm on my second one now. All of the tools and such that came with it are great, too. I love that I can change my gel color whenever I feel like it. As someone who doesn't do all of the stereotypical feminine things like daily makeup, hair, etc, this is something nice that I am willing to do and adds a small feminine touch. Totally worth the money to purchase this and learn how to do it yourself vs. going to a salon all the time. One important note: cap your nails and do NOT paint on your cuticles or the skin to the sides of your nails. This will cause a ridge and will make it easier for it to catch/ peel off. With practice, this is easy to learn and do.
