  • Easy to remove fake nails
Color: Gel Nail Steamer Remover
Helps with taking off gel polish

  • Burns/hurts your nails
Color: Gel Nail Steamer Remover
Really disappointed in this! I did everything it asked me to do, it made one flake come off. I started feeling terrible pain, (no I did not touch the hot Acetone) in some of my fingers. It wasn’t burning my skin but it was like the nerves under my nails were on fire! I now have what looks like a rash at the tip of my nail. I couldn’t stand to keep those fingers in. I had to file my gel polish almost completely off for it to even cause that one flake to come off. Complete trash and now I cannot stand for anything to touch my nails. ... show more

  • Check the content of acetone in your nail polish remover when using
I am so happy to have found something that makes removing acrylics, gels, dip powder, shellac, color street, and glitter polish such a breeze to get off with no damage to my nails! Results vary greatly by the acetone content in your nail polish remover, I used cutex 98% based acetone remover with acrylic nails on and had to steam each of my hands 4 times before removing all of the acrylic with hardly any filing. Color street came off easily with a store brand acetone remover, but the acetone remove that I used (I believe it was something like studio m or something along those lines) didn't touch my acrylics at all, didn't even soften them. The cutex did wonders and I have to believe that a 100% acetone remover would do the job easier. The instructions are very clear and my fingers no longer have an acetone residue in them after removing nails (we all know that dreaded taste of acetone residue on our fingers after we've soaked our nails and maybe forgot to wash out hands before grabbing something to eat 🤣). I love the quality of this product and I am thinking about purchasing a second one to do both hands at once. There is a lot less waste of remover too as you can reuse the remover for multiple steams. I found that about every 5-6 uses or steams I would need some more remover. The cutex remover that I used actually gelled up when it was getting low and it was really easy to clean the interior warming cup each time that happened. Overall a great product and quick and easy to use! Cannot say enough good about it! Check the content of acetone in your remover before using... You need something with a high level of acetone to get it to work the best, so negative reviews may be based on the acetone content of their polish remover. ... show more

  • Works great on nail wraps
Color: Gel Nail Steamer Remover
I was new to the world of nail wraps. Getting them on was no problem but getting them off was a little harder. This has made changing them out a breeze! Most of the time I now sit and watch tv with a hand in the steamer. Pull it out, give a little push with a manicure stick and they come right off. Swap out hands and go back to tv. ... show more

  • Saving my nails during quarantine!
I knew a few days before "everything" shut down that it was coming and I meant to get to the nail salon one last time but, of course, life got in the way. So, I found myself with dip/powder nails that should have been taken off about two weeks earlier. I decided to give this gadget a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I will say you must have a little patience. With the dip/powder it took me about 3 cycles per hand and, from start to finish about 90 minutes. However, it was well worth it! My nails came out looking smooth and not at all how they would have looked if I'd have tried to soak or peel them off. FYI: It was not clear to me that the scraping tools were included so I ordered them separately. HOWEVER, THE TOOLS ARE INCLUDED! All you need to purchase is acetone. It says you can use regular nail polish remover but I'd go with the acetone if you're wearing anything other than "regular" polish. Set up was super easy and pretty much self-explanatory. I love that you just turn it on and it preheats for a couple of minutes and then it tells you when to put your nails in and when to take them out. Each time you take them out, you use the scraper tool to gently scrape off whatever product you have on. As I mentioned above, I did this 3 times per hand (I added a little extra acetone once during the entire process). I probably could have stopped after two times but I wanted to get every last speck of the product off. Considering that nail salons typically charge for taking off product, I imagine I will continue to use this even when the salons have reopened. ... show more

  • It’s super cheap for how helpful it is
Color: Gel Nail Steamer Remover
Just buy it. I’ve been using brush on gel removers and they’re just not working well enough for me. My nails always end up damaged because they are not getting up all of the paint and I and up scraping more than I should. This device saved me. I can continue on my gel journey and not have to worry about sacrificing the strength of my natural nails as much. Any augmentation to your nails has an effect. There will never ever be “no damage”. But I can definitely see longevity in the strength of my nails with this soaker. Buy it! Use 100% acetone. You don’t need to bathe the nails in the acetone. Just grip the top when you put your nails in and let the steamer do it’s job until it beeps. Repeat if you didn’t get it all off the first time, starting with a light filing of the polish before the soak. ... show more

  • Unsure at this time - Didn’t work on first try 😔
A little nervous when I first opened shipping box. The product box inside was damaged but I didn’t see damage on the steamer. I used 100% acetone and nothing happened. There was no steam that I could see. The bowl was slightly warm. The acetone may have reached room temperature or slightly above. I tried 3 times and after a good amount of scrapping I finally got it off. Using foils was faster. I’ve been doing my own nails for a long time now since most nail salons I’ve tried have no clue how to handle natural nails. I’ve ordered a bottle of Offly Fast as I’ve seen in comments and watched a YouTube video using that remover. I’ll try again with the Offly Fast and update if successful. My expectations are fairly low since there was no steam or heat. I’m hoping to be proved wrong or I’ll have to see about returning and go back to my usual process using foils to soak off. ... show more
