  • Nice products, horrible customer service
Edition: Toolkit
The tool kit is nice as are the models. I have bought several. Their customer service however is non-existent. They don't answer their phone or emails or respond to messages sent on their "Contact Us" page. I tried for several weeks to reach them and not a single reply.

  • A great way to learn some basic electronic engineering, and makes an awesome display piece!
Edition: Hexapod Tank no toolkit
I'm an avid RC car enthusiast, with a hobby-level background in engineering of all sorts. I'm always looking for cool display pieces I can assemble myself to decorate my home, so when I stumbled upon these rad little models made out of PCBs, I was blown away by what a great concept it was. You can assemble the model easily, with a number of options for customization (you can reverse the PCB pieces to be either silver or matte black) and included are a high quality sheet of adhesive decals. The instructions offer clear assembly guides and serve as an excellent primer on how to begin soldering. It serves as a great learning tool and in the end you have an awesome little display piece to show off! Highly recommended for young hobbyists with an interest in engineering (particularly electrical) who are at an appropriate age to learn the more involved basics of the field, such as soldering. ... show more

  • Needs more accurate instructions, and needs more parts.
Edition: Hexapod Tank no toolkit
This kit does NOT come with enough parts such as LED's and Resistors to complete this model (its a model NOT A ROBOT) per their instructions unfortunately. So one must be very careful when assembling this model. For example in the instructions they are asking for 2 resistor per leg (6 legs total), that's a total of 12 resistors yet they only send 15. So with that said you can follow their instructions as they are written, in my opinion they need to either send more items with their kits or redo their entire instruction booklet, people starting out with this kit will not understand this and will run out of parts before they are finished with the model and end up being very disappointed. Now the kit itself looks and feels great, have fun and read the instructions and make a plan before you start building. ... show more

  • My son loves it
Personally I think the instructions NEED to be more in depth. It's hard to see where the soldering is supposed to go. Would have been 5 stars. Mt son loves it though.
