I've been grating Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago cheeses with one of the hand held graters like the waiters use in a restaurant. You know, crank with one hand, cheese falls on food. This grater has those beat by a mile. • 1) It's easier on your hands. With the handheld you have to press down on the lid to get proper pressure to grate. With this new grater, just put your cheese in the top and crank away. • 2) It delivers neatly into a bowl • 3) The changeable cutters are a good feature but I've found that the slicer cuts veggies somewhat thinner than I'd like. If you like cucumbers and other veggies thin sliced, this is your tool. • 4) It breaks down very quickly for cleaning and snaps back together very easily. • 5) The suction cup on the bottom, REALLY HOLDS!! However, when you turn the knob to release it, it comes right off the counter. Drawbacks: The only drawback is that when a chunk of cheese gets down in size, it becomes so thin that it can slip between the grater drum and the body and just circle around and around as you crank, without ever getting grated. Easy to fix, just pull it out the next time around. All in all, a very satisfying grater and well worth the low price

My partner loves shredded hash browns, while I hate the box grater. I constantly end up shredding my fingers, and wasting the ends of things just to avoid blood loss. This wonderful gadget is awesome! It’s fast and easy to change out blades, cleaning is a breeze, and no damage to my hands! I’ve shredded potatoes, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese and used the slicer on cucumbers for a favorite cucumber salad. I’ve have no issues whatsoever with the performance! The suction base is so much stronger than I was afraid it would be, yes I’ve had to “fix” it a couple of times, but that was likely because I didn’t get the knob completely engaged. I’m seriously thinking about ordering a few of these as gifts. Awesome product at a great price and something you probably thought “I don’t need that” but you Definitely need!

Honestly, I purchased this to male shaved ice at home... and the rest of the options were just a bonus! All of the blades work well. It makes shredding cheese so effortless. It is comfortable to use as long as you have enough counter space. One downfall is the suction... it doesn't always work. I make sure I clean the space I put it on to get the best grip. It is easy to use and to put together. The color is a beautiful blue. And yes! The shaved ice attachment works! I love this thing.

Very compact & portable. Small jobs perfect. This is NOT the right tool for big jobs like shredding 3 cheese blocks for mac n cheese, get the food processor for that. This product does small jobs quick & easy. Cheese gets compacted in the cone requires simple assistance with knife to remove but thats not the shredders fault, cheese is soft. I used it for shredding frozen sticks of butter for topping vegetables, better than pats or slicing. Cleans up with hot water rinses then d/w. Might get 2nd one for RV trips. Very handy!

I love using this grater! It’s so easy to use and take apart. We primarily use this for shredding carrots, slicing cucumbers as well as potatoes, grating cheddar cheese, and making shaved ice. When assembled, I like that I can suction it down for stability. The quality and comfort are good while in use. The whole thing disassembles super easy for throwing in the dishwasher (or washing by hand) which is nice for cleaning.

I mix my own shaving soap and was tired of scrapping my knuckles on the grader. I was looking for a safe grader and found this style. Seemed like a good product and I just received it today and put it to use immediately. It worked perfectly for grading soap. one bar fits in the hopper exactly. it graded it perfectly and sped up the entire process for me greatly and improved my mix significantly. It was quick and easy to clean up. I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this product. I can't speak to how well it will hold up over time but I will add to the review in about 6 months covering this topic.
