These retaining ring pliers work as advertised. I needed a set to remove the snap ring on my lower ball joints and they worked perfectly. I won't be using them all the time so buying a proper set of pliers was more than I was willing to invest in. For the occasional user these are perfect. and they worked perfectly. I kept them straight and with the copper needles and it was quick and easy. My set with the interchangeable heads was way to weak and couldn't close enough.

    • Does not ‘ratchet’ as advertised, otherwise very solid tool.
Advertised as ratcheting, but it does not. Otherwise very solid, smooth operating tool. This appears identical to the ChannelLoc brand. Only reason this is not a 5-star was the lack of ratcheting. I will continue my search and return these if I can find a ratcheting model.
