I use hex bit sockets and hex T-Handle every day at work and after having nothing but problems with the regular style of hex bit sockets that you would typically find at your local department store i started searching for a better solution than using the lifetime warranty once a month. From all the research I did, I found that the difference between Cr Va material (average every day hex bits) and Cr Moly (impact grade hex bits) was like night and day, especially for the 3/16 size. Basically the impact grade sockets bend easier but don't break or get permanently bent like the Cr Va sockets. if you don't use impact hex bits or Eklind brand T-handles every day like i do, it might feel like something is not right the way they bend kind of easily but in this situation it means you are actually using a higher quality tool. When it comes to any hex tool you have go with the best quality. They are worth the extra money. ... show more

    • Great quality I just wish there were more sizes in the kit.
The quality is super nice, the tolerances are tight, and the they super durable. My only complaint is that I wish the kit had more sizes.

Twisted the 7/32 a full 360 degrees with only 55 ft lbs its still working fine but they are rounding out extremely fast, giving this a low score because they performed the same or worse as a far cheaper set, the search for a real hex socket continues
