I love tools, and I'm very critical of toolsets like this. I can say that this one is very complete with all of the sizes. I love the fact that Gearwrench puts out a set like this with all of the sizes complete. I'm professional auto mechanic and always liked thear products since i purchased my first GearWrench tool. You can not go wrong whith this great price/quality ratio like they offer,and this set is absolutly great example of that. For anyone who want to place this set in his toolbox i'd recommend to remove the lid and place it under thelower half this way you dont have to open it every time when you open the draw of you toolbox. Fantastic 1/4" drive ratchet and socket set. Every GearWrench product I have owned has been good quality but the superb functionality of their tools is where they shine. The ratchet has good, narrow profile that allows for good access to awkwardly placed fasteners. The ratchet mechanism needs very little movement to ratchet and took very little resistance from the fastener to engage the ratcheting action. I didn't really need the deep well sockets and would've liked a smaller kit but the smaller ones I saw did not have all the socket sizes I required. ... show more

Like most Gearwrench products, this is remarkably nice. I've been a fan of Gearwrench for quite some time - with the decline of Sears Gearwrench has more or less become my go-to brand in lieu of Craftsman. I'm no pro, but I'm a pretty heavy DIYer - always got something coming apart or going back together - and even this little set keeps up. I bought it primarily to replace some lost 1/4" deep sockets, but as it turns out the ratchet is very nice and it's the one I find myself using most frequently. Really nice 1/4” drive set. Has all the sizes you could ask for and the fit and finish is nice. The ratchet is pretty finely geared and the box is great. I use this for most of my hex bolt work around our building. 1/4” is easier to work with in tight places and if I need to break something loose or really crank it down I use a box end wrench or a Knipex Pliers wrench. I got into Gearwrench a few years back with their ratchet wrenches and have enjoyed the brand ever since. They fit and work well. They last and they are cost effective. ... show more
