This is my second GearWrench ratchet purchase and I am extremely pleased. The ratchet head is thin enough to get into many tight areas using shallow sockets. The ratcheting action is super fine and the detent handle is perfect for holding the angle I need to get everything set before bearing down on the handle. The chrome finish is very good and the handle grip works well with greasy hands. I also use GearWrench long pattern wrenches and ratcheting wrenches and they are great! ... show more

Nice rachet, use it everyday at work, pay for itself in a week, forget all the negative review, I love this rachet, better than strap on and ratco, for 1/3 the price, this is my second one, I lost mine or someone stole it, good buy, made it Taiwan, that's fine, quality is good, it's my go to rachet, for people that give it low rating, go and buy the $200-$300 snap on and matco, for me I'll get this and save the money and smile cuz you over paid, you do get what you pay for, I work as a mechanic 6 days a week and my old one held up for a year us till it got lost or stollen, buy it, if you don't like return it ... show more

I've used this ratchet every single day for 8 months as a professional technician, and it has never skipped a beat. It takes whatever I put it to, and has just the right amount of length to get the job done, the indexing swivel head is handy, as locking ones always seem to relock just when you dont want them to, but the non locking ones just move all over. This is by far the most used tool in my toolbox, and ever since I bought it, I haven't even thought to touch my snap-on ratchet of the same type.
