Description

The GEARWRENCH ratcheting combination wrenches are the original patented ratcheting wrench! The ratcheting box end is designed to need as little as 5° to move fasteners versus 30° for standard wrenches. The wrenches are made from strong alloy steel with a bright, full polish chrome finish. The ratcheting box end features off-corner loading for a better grip on the fastener and reduces fastener rounding. They’re available in various lengths and styles, including: XL length, stubby, flex, stubby flex, and locking flex.

Great quality and durability is on point use these for lots of plumbing for the hotel. Love the foam and very easy to take with me from cart to tool box. Great set for the money. Love this set great price can’t beat it. As an apprentice look for a no skip set this was a no brainer set even included stubby ratcheting wrenches love this set since it arrived snap-on has a version if you wanna spend 6x what this set is.

This review is for Gearwrench Metric Standard & Stubby Ratcheting Wrench Set 72T 28 piece. The foam tray you get is one of the best things you get here because you can just place that into a toolbox as it is to keep these organized easily. The tray has numbers printed on the surface to help you get them back home but if they wear off you will need to go by feel. The tools are held securely in place and tight within the tray. My biggest complaint about these wrenches is they come covered in grease and fingerprints. It is a brand new set for sure, this is just how they are packed. Personally I think a new set like this should be polished and shiny when paying this high of a price for it. Now I need to be the one to shine them up and that is not very reasonable. The listing even calls them out as bright and full polish when that is far from the truth. This is a true full set of wrenches between 24 and 6mm the only one missing is 23mm. They do make 23mm wrenches in some brands but it isn't something you see all the time so I do not blame GearWrench for not including it here. I tested the strength of a few of these wrenches and they held up fine. I broke loose nuts with the ratchet end which is usually a no-no as far as keeping your tools in good shape but I wanted to put these to a harsher use. I have some GearWrench ratcheting wrenches that are over 8 years old as well and they still work like new so I figured these could take the abuse as well and they did. Overall this is a good set but the fact they come out dirty is an issue for me. I can deal with it as they still function just fine but that should be addressed by GearWrench. I think these will last me quite a long time based on how they feel and with the storage option I will hopefully not lose them. ... show more

Great set! Used it for over a year now, no problems so far. So durability has been good. Includes all the sizes I've needed to work on my Hondas and Mazdas. Included foam tray fits my box, and keeps everything organized. Only wish they had directional switches.
