I used one on the little bitty driveline strap bolts, the ones with the 8mm head that are way too soft and like to strip. I started out with one of these instead of a normal socket and it spun loose just fine. They fit a little on the tight side so you may need a hammer to tap them on, but they work well. Only downside is the sizes are not stamped on the sockets, so you have to be careful how you store them to keep from wearing the numbers off. ... show more

    • Stubborn fastener tools

These tools are described as being for stubborn/rusted/damaged fasteners. They work well, and are of good quality. Overall, the tool set works well, although if you are willing to look around (and pay more) you can get better ones. ChannelLock NutBuster pliers work slightly better, and Wera Chiseldriver screwdrivers are also slightly better for extra tough jobs, but their damaged/broken nut/bolt removers are as good as any I have used. They are 'straight' rather than 'twisted' like most of them are, so if a bolt/nut is rusted bad, and needs to be 'wiggled' back and forth to work loose, you can do it with these. The twisted ones are good for loosening only, if the threads start to seize you cannot turn it back down and add more penetrating oil to help break it loose. For these alone, the set is worth it, if you deal with rusted/damaged fasteners. The pliers and screwdrivers are a nice bonus, and while they are not the 'best' I have used, they are very good, and the price is right. ... show more

First off let me tell you that these save my butt on a job that I couldn’t get a stripped exhaust header but off. I tried many other methods without success and then decided to purchase these even though I think they are way overpriced. This did the job in 2 minutes.👍😁 I am rating a 3 on cost, way to much for Chinese made tools, rating 3 for durability because I have no way to know how they are going to hold up yet. But overall 5stars because it helped me out of a huge jam that I spent hours trying to fix before purchasing this set to help me with my issue.
