This set is a great value. The only thing negative for me and it has nothing to do with these cases at all is my set of Gretsch is a 7 piece and depending on the manufacturer, in my case I have an 8, 10 and 12 Toms and a 16 floor Tom. My base drum is 22 inch. This set is for 12 and 13 inch toms I believe so I knew they were going to be big for my Toms so I used thin small bubble wrap to fill the gaps. Not a big deal considering the price was very good for quality bags. I purchased a separate bag for my 8 inch Tom. The 16 inch floor Tom fit perfectly as well as the 22 inch base drum bag. I wished this company made 10 inch and 12 inch Tom bags but they don't so the little bit of money for the thin bubble wrap and the additional 10 minutes of work was nothing compared to what it would have cost me for a 10 and 12 inch bags. It's way cheaper buying a complete set of cases and depending on your brand if your drums are the size of theses bags you will have zero issues and if yours are like mine a bit smaller the thin bubble wrap works great. As with all drum bag you still need to be gentle when transporting. Hope this review helps. ... show more

Bought these for my already incredibly expensive drum set. They are currently being used to store them, as i'm sick of getting dust on my kit. The material for these bags are nice and they fit oddly sized drumset, including my small toms, but giant bass drum. The only downside is the handles feel a little flimsy. If they could be reinforced for a stronger hold, that would be good. However, as long as you aren't swinging your drums from the handles, these should hold up nicely. Looking forward to using these for gigs with my band! ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box for these drum bags. Seemingly very good quality for the price. They've got a good amount of padding, but not too bulky. I Just got them, so time will tell how they hold up, but they fit my Pearl Export set great! It would be nice to have some pockets in the bigger two for sticks, drum keys, etc. but all in all a great bag set for $99. ... show more

I was looking for a long-term storage solution for my 7-piece drum kit, without necessarily breaking the bank. Nothing hard-shelled and super durable, just something to keep the drums covered and not allow dust/moisture to get in contact with them while in storage. This set does just that. And yes, you read that right - my Tama Superstar Classic is 7 pieces. I got a custom separate bag for my snare (it's deep and wouldn't fit in a standard snare bag), but what got me REALLY excited is that I was able to fit TWO of my smaller toms in just one bag from this kit. I was ready to start researching the market for an extra bag, but on top of being such a huge bang for the buck, this bag set was able to take ALL my drums and I won't have to buy anything else. I know it's probably not the most ideal solution, but again, I am not moving the drums anywhere, they are just quietly sitting on top of each other, so it should be fine. Very happy with it. This drum bag set is high quality and was offered to me when I was considering another brand, similar, for twice the price. Previously, I was using a more well known and highly rated brand but I find this set is actually of better quality. It is more cushioned via the lining, which I think will be more protective of my precious equipment and is easier, I find, to get the bags on and off. I also received excellent and caring response to questions I had in advance of delivery. Recommended. Takes up less space than hard cases! One thing which I forgot to mention is that each bag, next to the brand logo in orange script, lists the size and the first initial of each piece. For example, "Gearlux 22B" (for bass or kick), "16F" (for floor tom), "14S" (for snare), "13T" and "12T" for your additional toms. I thought that was pretty slick, for easy identification at a glance, especially in instances of someone else helping you transport/set up your gear, who might be unfamiliar despite it all looking pretty obvious to you as to what is what! ... show more

My Gearlux 5-Piece Drum Bag Set for 12" Tom, 13" Tom, 14" Snare, 16" Floor Tom, 22" Bass Drum is all I had hoped for - and more. First, for the money these bags are a great deal. I had the chance to use them this past weekend and had a great experience. The drums fit nicely - there's even a bit of extra room in my kick drum bag - and my 12" rack tom with the suspension mount fit just right in the 12" tom bag.
