The description is misleading as it says it is a PADDED bag for a 13-14 inch diameter drum. It is not padded and the answer to the question when directly asked was evasive. The answer was “ Oxford cloth” - not a simple NO, as it should have been. If it were padded, the nearly 16 inch bag might be great for a 13 to 14 inch diameter drum, but without it the bag is too big, shifty and saggy to offer any shock protection and cannot serve as any more than a dust or rain cover. I may keep it and pad it myself or use it for some other purpose in lieu of returning it because the outside is decently constructed, the material seems water resistant, and I do like that it has an outside pocket for short mallets or other gear and additional straps. It's the correct size however; its flimsy and non padded. Thin material that doesn't protect the drum well. Material is thinner than a standard tarp. I don't recommend it.
