    • ZAGG makes a great product, but there is just one flaw...the camera fence surround is too shallow

I would have given ZAGG 5 stars overall, but the shallow wall/protector around the camera lenses need to be raised just a little bit to allow you to use camera lens protectors- they protrude just a hair past the "fence" that is supposed to guard the lenses. The other case I removed from this phone had a taller "fence" around this area, whereas this one is pretty low. I just installed a Tauri lens protector, and they are just proud of the fence height. Not good. I'm also a previous ZAGG use with my prior iPhone8+. It's a great case, very protective and shock absorptive, handles well, just like this one does. Sadly, I may look at other case options that will guard the lenses with their protectors a bit better. Now, if you have no intention of using lens protectors, you should be ok although I'd still like to see a bit more height on the lens surround. It's really pretty low. Edit 9/28/23- because of that aforementioned low raised ridge around the lenses, my lens protectors are not properly shielded, and as a result when I put my cellphone ona tabletop, the lens protector lifts away from the lens on one side. Also happens when my cellphone is in my pocket. Sadly, I already threw out the packaging so I can’t return it. I love these cases but this is useless to me. ... show more

Having used the Gear 4 ZAGG Crystal Palace Clear Phone Case for my mini iPhone 13, I can confidently say it’s the best phone case I’ve owned. This is my second Zagg clear case, and just like the first one, it impresses with its slim yet sturdy design. It slides in and out of my cargo shorts pocket effortlessly, and I love how easy it is to install and remove for cleaning. I’ve dropped my phone multiple times, but thanks to this case, it’s remained undamaged. The clear design is fantastic because it allows my wife and me to distinguish our phones easily by their colors. The “silent” mode button and other function buttons are easily accessible through the case, making daily use convenient. Plus, my lapel mic transmitter plugs into the bottom port without needing to remove the case, saving me time and hassle. It lasts about a year. I’m not sure if I should expect this or expect it to last the life of the phone. The soft plastic above the connector eventually breaks through. There are tiny soft plastic bits on the bottom side corners which wear out too. I went through two of these and will try another brand now. ... show more
