The "bag" is one long tube so you have to tie knots to create the bag inside diaper pail. Most frustrating thing is there is no way to know how much of the tube you have left. Sometimes you can put a diaper in the pail only to accidentally find out you don't have any more space left and the bag just falls through.

Absolutely love these refill rings! I’ve been using these for 2 years now since my son was born with my munchkin 2 step pail. It’s super easy to remove the dirty portion and tie off the new section- it really only takes 30 seconds especially with the built in tool for cutting the bags on the 2 step pail. Only thing I wish could be improved is not wasting quite as much to tie off the bag- wish you could seal it some other way but not a deal breaker for me. I made the mistake of buying a similar generic brand, one time, and will never do that again. The generic didn’t have the notches to hold the ring in place which made it much harder to use and I ended up wasting a ton trying to make it work plus they didn’t block out the smell nearly as well. Once I gave up on these I put these on auto replenish and haven’t looked back! They never smell, leak or tear and I will absolutely continue using these for my son and future kids.
