  • Great product and good price
Worked as it should and fixed our oven baking issue. It was delivered quickly. It’s an oem part. So build quality should be really good hopefully. Only time will tell with it. But in theory using Oem grade parts usually hold up better. And it’s only about 6-9 dollars more than the no name third party appliance part brands. ... show more

  • Plug and play
Fits great, works great. It had the correct connector, I did not need to splice any wires. Plug and play. It was nice that they included ceramic wire nuts if the connector is different.

  • Works perfectly and instantly!
I read some reviews about the oven not kicking on and smelling some gas when turning on the broiler. I had the same experience, but then I realized that it was completely my fault. When you install this item, you want to make sure that the part that is shaped in an angle is the part that needs to be fixed near the flame, facing the flame directly, otherwise the gas will just keep going without any ignition happening. Now, as soon as the gas starts flowing, it instantly turns on which is awesome. So far so good ... show more

  • not as pictured
The igniter was correct for my range, but there was no plug end as shows in the picture. Typed instructions were in the package (excellent packaging) that said to cut the wire from my old igniter and then splice this one in using the enclosed wire covers. The wire covers looked really cheap to me, but I installed as instructed and one of the wire covers stripped out and immediately fell off. When wires were previously professionally spliced for install of my dishwasher the only reason I didn't have a house fire when they fell loose was because a metal box was installed around the splice and wire covers. I decided I was taking too much of a chance to have sparks around a propane gas range and called my electrician to finish this install and because the original old plug in broke while I was splicing the wires. The electrician did the patch work but he advised to not use this part and get a correct one with the plug. I'll go get whatever kind of cover I need to go around this splice for safety. In my three contacts with the company to ask for the part as pictured I got a lot of policy wordage. I could send it back at 25% restock fee and only 50% reimbursement because I had used the wire covers. ... show more

  • Save the money and buy this!
This same part was on Sears and Ge website going for $82.00. No need to pay that buy it here. FYI my oven began slowly taking longer to heat and eventually didn't hold temp at all. If you are unsure of yourself get someone that is qualified. Steps I did to replace the part. These are what I did, if you are sure that you can replace the part you may be doing similar steps. *** Unplug oven from AC outlet*** 1. Remove the warming drawer by opening the drawer til it stops and finding the levers on the sides inside the rollout hinges that allow the drawer to come off. Mine were off-white in color. Push down or up on them and gently remove the drawer. 2. Take the oven door off. This is simple slowly open the door until it stops (the first time) then lift up. it will come off the hinges. 3. Remove oven racks 4. Find the two screws in the back of the oven on the bottom. Mine were round heads with a straight slot. I used a screwdriver to loosen them until I could unscrew with my fingers. Put them in a safe place. 5. Lift up on the bottom panel of the oven until it unlocks from the front of the oven bottom. Remove and place in safe place. 6. The ignotor is screwed in with two 1/4" hex screws. Carefully unscrew them using socket wrench. Place in safe place. 7. Un-hook wiring connecter inside the warming drawer section. it's a white connector that requires squezing on the sides of the connector. 8. Remove the ignitor from the oven and put new one in same place. 9. Put the 1/4" screws back and ensure to align the ignitor with the pipe it's next to so it functions correctly. 10. Connect the white wire connector inside the warming drawer. 11. put the bottom of the oven back inplace (insure that the clips that allow the screws to tighten are in place before setting the panel in palce. They shouldn't have moved when it was removed it, but in case they did put them back in place now. 12. put the two screws back for the bottom of the oven panel. 13. put the racks back in the oven. 14. Put the oven door back on. 15. plug the oven in and test to make sure it warms up. 16. Put warming drawer back in carefully. This is simple, just line up the roll out hinges and then close the drawer. Once it closes all the way it will lock. This whole process took me less than 10 minutes. It saved me a service call ($95.00 and $82.00 for the part). ... show more

  • Saved my old Kenmore!
Igniter works as it should in my over 20 year old Kenmore gas range ( model 362.75271691). I did have to clip off the included plug and direct wire using the wire nuts. The old igniter did glow but the oven would not light so I wasn't 100% sure the igniter was the issue. After a little research it seems igniters can still glow and appear visually to be working but in reality it isn't pulling enough power to fire up the gas. This fixed the problem. Installation is easy, just removed the drawer and reached in to replace it. You just have to be willing to lay on the floor! I can't speak to longevity having only installed this a week ago but at the price i might just order another to have a backup. ... show more

  • High Quality Drop-in, easy replacement
This igniter, GE Part Number WB13K21 is made by GE in the USA and a direct replacement for the original igniter part number WB13K00021 used in my 2005 GE Profile Range, Model Number JGB915SEF3SS. It is of very high quality. It is packaged well. It is a drop-in replacement. My igniter would glow red hot but the the gas valve would not open for the flame to ignite. My range still worked and my broiler still worked. If I had a current meter I would have been able to measure the current draw and would have found it to be below the necessary threshold to allow for the gas valve to safely open. This item is easy to replace, only needing about 30 minutes of time, a 1/4-inch wrench and flat-head screw driver. These fail from normal wear and tear. There are plenty online videos demonstrating the repair. ... show more
