The alternator didn’t last even a year. I had it checked by a professional mechanic so know it was indeed a problem with the alternator. The seller wouldn’t respond to messages to replace within the warranty period stated on the listing of one year. Spend a little more and get the better one. Poor quality.

Alternator worked perfect. Only issue was bolt bushings would spin while trying to tight mounting bolts other than that seems to be working great but only time will tell definitely worth the money

Alt works great on my 06 BEW tdi. Only issue was it comes with a fixed pulley and when you put the clutch pulley on you’ll have to put a washer under the pulley or it’ll bottom out on the alt itself

The unit I received had a solid pulley not the OE one-way or decoupler pulley, tensioner and drive may have reduced life. Other than that fits and works as it should. Alternator died only a few months worth of use, I’d look for a better replacement
