Assembly is kind of tedious compared to a normal cat tree because of the litter box cabinet. I didn't think my cat was going to play with the little toys, but she does fairly often. Most of the time she sits at the highest part while looking out the window, but sometimes she lays in the little boxes. I like the cardboard scratching pad along the exit. My daughter insisted on building the cat tower herself , she said it was a fun project and her cat has a new favorite spot. My favorite thing is the litter is pretty much contained to the bottom cabinet.

This tree is almost perfect. My cats love it. The biggest downfall is the size. The litter box area is perfect size. The empty side of the top is great for food and water dishes( if your cats don’t play in the water, mine do so I had to move it back to the floor). The tree part is super small though. I couldn’t use the fabric parts to make the houses or it would have made the tree unusable. My cats aren’t super big either, the black and white cat is only 7 pounds while the gray one is a 18 pound bengal cat. They still fit and use the tree but it just looks so small when they are on it. For the price I was expecting something slightly bigger at least for the tree part. The shipping took about a week and both boxes arrived at the same time. I did find a mistake in the instructions but otherwise they were clear and easy to follow. It is time consuming to build though. Overall it’s a good tree but could be a bit bigger for full size cats, would be perfect for smaller cars and kittens though. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this product is. The moment the panels came out of the box I knew this was definitely going to hold all 3 of our cats. We have one older cat (14 years old) and 2 smaller cats that are about 2 years old and all of them have not left it since putting it together. All 3 automatically used the litter box and it has helped keep the little off the floor and the smell is not filling the room anymore. Great great product. ... show more

Honestly one of my favorite cat tree products I’ve bought. It was very doable to build but a screw gun would be nice. Lots or turning of a screw driver ( not provided) and lots of Allen wrench use. My cats were obsessed with it right away and used their litter box immediately.

I am only giving 4 stars because while it’s amazing, it is not for larger cats. It seems to be more kitten size? We had to take the wraps off for my cats to use it. My cat and I LOVE this! We had a big covered litter box and a wobbly old cat tree, and this is a great combo that takes up less space, looks nice and fits well in our living room without looking like a litter box. The assembly directions looked pretty complicated but my husband was able to knock it out pretty easily. It’s very tall and much more sturdy than expected. It doesn’t shake when my chunky cat jumps on it, and he can fit his big belly into the little boxed areas where we hide his food from the dogs. He loves it and so do I! If I had to find a complaint it would be the litter pad doesn’t get all the litter off his feet when he comes out of the box but that’s to be expected. This cat tree has everything your cat needs! The bottom litter box section fits a large litter box well and the door area has a scratching board included that helps keep litter from spreading outside of the box. As pictured it has multiple scratching posts of different types so it will accommodate a lot of different cats preferences I have a smaller sized cat and she is able to fit in both huts well however a larger cat may not fit well in the smaller hut. Both huts are constructed but the walls wrapping around the poles and are easily removable if they do not fit your cats size or needs. The instructions provided enough information for I think anyone to be able to assemble alone and can be completed in 30minutes to an hour.
