This item surprisingly works exactly as shown in the video. This garlic press/ slicer, is not your old fashioned useless one. I have one of those, and hardly used it. This however is the life saver. I use garlic almost every day. There's no sofrito without garlic. This item is priced the best from all the sellers on Amazon. It's Free shipping, which is music to my ears. It also comes with 3 additional accessories included in. A brush for cleaning, a little knife to scrape garlic, and a silicone tube to place unpealed garlic cloves and peel the garlic. Doesn’t work
Unless you have man muscles, this is gonna be difficult to use. I found it just smashed the garlic flat or pushed it out from under the press. The holes don’t seem to have any sharpness to them whatsoever rendering this is useless.

It's very pretty, but it does not work. At all.
You are supposed to roll the garlic in the tube, and the skins fall off. They don't. Then, having removed the skins the old way, you rock the blade thing, which is very attractive to look at, over the garlic, and it's supposed to rise up through the holes in neat little pieces. It doesn't. Even leaning my weight on it, basically the clove of garlic just flattened. The holes have no sharpness to them, so they don't cut at all. I've tried this twice. The first time, the garlic was pretty old, and I thought maybe if it was fresh, it would be crisper, and might work. Nope.
