It’s nice quality, lightweight, & easy to fold/unfold, which is important when you have 9 soccer games in 2 days and have to change fields after each one. So . . . I have to confess I saw this GCI folding rocker chair at store first. It was sooooo comfortable and I LOVED the rocker feature. However the store only had one left so I decided to check Amazon. They had it ! and several choices of color. I also like how it folds - no trying to stuff chair in bag, you just pull up on handle strap and tug and it folds. Is light to carry. I normally would not pay so much for this type of chair that I take to outdoor events, etc. but the comfort, rocker feature and how it folds is worth the price. ... show more

My husband & I attended an outdoor concert, when my friend who had walked his dog, told me about people he had seen with these chairs. My hubby & I had just discussed getting new chairs (ours are over 25+ years old and starting to tear, dry rot etc.), when our friend was telling us about these rockers. Lo & behold when I looked up and there were about 1/2 dozen people with these exact ones! I ordered the kick back chairs as the glider looked as if it really needed a flat level surface. Well, these ROCK! ;) I'm 5'10" 170lbs & my husband is 5'11" 310 lbs. I fit just fine with room to spare. The hubby has a tighter fit (didn't realize it's only rated for 250 lbs until AFTER I made the purchase), but says he's still quite comfortable. We really like the strap and the clip to keep the chair folded while carrying it, is sturdy. These are a little heavier than the older camping chairs, but the strap to carry it over the shoulder is high quality and has real good weight distribution, so it's not awkward or difficult to carry. I really like how there's NOT a sleeve that I have to finagle to get the chair inside! We bought the used-like new from the Amazon warehouse. They looked brand-new! VERY HAPPY with this purchase! Definitely worth the extra $$ to upgrade to a rocker! I'm getting ready to purchase a couple more! VERY GOOD QUALITY! We've already used them a couple of times without any issues! It’s a really nice chair, very comfortable with a smooth rocking motion. Not the easiest to fold but not hard at all. Very happy with my purchase. The only negatives would be the mesh cup holder, should be solid material for the price of the chair. And one of the reasons I bought this version is because of the carry strap instead of a bag. Problem is the strap needs to be a little longer. I’m 5’11, 190lbs and when I’m carrying the chair it’s really tight in my shoulder. Hope that loosens up a little the more I use it. ... show more

This is my second purchase of the same chair because I love it so much. I bought this one for my husband. He’s 220 pounds and over 6 feet tall. He loves the chair as it’s supportive, comfortable and so sturdy. We take it to our son’s sporting event. It’s well worth the expense!

OK, I’m getting older. I never had a problem sitting on the Grass watching my kids play Soccer. I even did well as a grandparent watching them play. Yeah, I’m not doing that anymore. This chair is perfect for anyone but definitely perfect for slightly more mature people who do not want to Uncomfortable anywhere ever again. It rocks, I mean it rocks! And that it actually rocks so you can tilt it to get Whatever angle you need for your back. It has a little sunvisor, which in Washington can mean both saving you from the sun and the pouring down rain all in the same event.
