I ordered the light beige color, and it was exactly what I wanted. The quality of the items is great. There were no flaws or variations of color between each individual item. The items were packaged in sturdy cardboard with individual boxes for the plates and bowls. There were no chips or breakage on any of the pieces.

I’ve been searching for new dishes for a while and these seem to really fit the bill. I love that they are dishwasher safe and they seem to be very sturdy. I haven’t noticed any scratches from cutlery which can sometimes be an issue. My husband commented that he loves the size of the bowls. I love the simplicity of their design, while still maintaining the character of the cream color with the speckles and brown rims. And they’ve held up well for a family with four kids!

We've been enjoying this set for about a week, and like it so much that we've ordered another set to increase the number of place settings from four to eight. What we like: - The plates, both large and salad sized - are completely flat inside for maximum food space, with edges that turn upward at a 90 degree angle to keep things where they belong. Our old plates have a smaller diameter flat area in their centers, with larger, sloping edges that reduce food space. The GBHOME plates are better in this regard and are more stable on surfaces (you can't spill food by bumping the plates' edges down accidentally). - The flat design of the plates make them much easier to put into our dishwasher rack. - The cereal/soup bowls are smaller in diameter than our old ones, but have precisely the same amount of volume capacity because their sides are taller. This makes them easier to store in our kitchen cabinet. - The finish is very smooth, feel very nice, are easy to clean and look great after a wash. What we don't like quite as much: - The dishes and bowls are not perfectly formed on their sides, which means that they don't stack as neatly as we'd like. That it, the edges have small, barely noticeable depressions in random places, which I assume is on purpose to give them a more rustic, hand-made appearance. But this also means that stacking them doesn't work quite as well because these small imperfections prevent tighter stacking. This is not a big issue for us, as evidenced by our order for a second set. But if you want perfectly formed plates that stack very closely together, these may require you to allocate a bit more vertical space if you're stacking a lot of them. To be fair, I'm doubtful this will be bothersome or even noticeable by most people. We do wish there was an option for coffee cups that would match this set, and are hopeful they will be made available per the photo in the Amazon page. This is an attractive set with a minimalist design that's pleasing to the eye, and I'm happy to have them on our table.
