Fake wood, but it looks nice. Don't expect to set this up pronto......it takes time to figure out the directions and then assemble it....... It weighs less than what one would think so setting the tv on it took a bit of caution.....

Assembly instructions were a little confusing but not bad. I assembled by myself. I think they say you need two people because you assemble it upside down and then flip it over. Two people is safer because it’s not super sturdy since it’s particle board, but I did it carefully no problem without help. ... show more

its a great tv stand but the directions were super confusing. You definitely need two people to build this but honestly, its worth it, especially for the price. Holds my 50 inch tv perfectly fine and has nice space for storage
