I love my new TV stand, which I don't really use as a TV stand. It's located under the tv, which is mounted on the wall. It sits low so that there is room for framed photos and other nick-nacks without blocking the tv. Ordering online, sight unseen, I was afraid the gray color wouldn't match my dark-gray wood-grained furniture, but it is super close and matches well. The only issue I have is that it's pretty narrow - a little more than I anticipated. I have a satellite receiver box that I put on one of the center shelves. It sticks out too far, so I can't open or close the barn doors. Unfortunately, I will have to relocate it to sit on top. Hubby was challenged with the assembly, but if you are good at following instructions, you should be fine. It will take a while though, so be patient. ... show more

Let me preface that my parents are over 70 years old and live a few hours away. My parents took almost 6 hours to assemble the furniture with my assistance via FaceTime. The assembly instructions show which hardware to use and how many is needed. The instructions are not detailed enough to show someone with poor vision on where to position and fasten each piece. If I were to do it myself, it would have gone a lot smoother. Pieces are typical MDF quality and not solid wood. This was expected. Well constructed and solid when assembled. The instructions are fine if you have experience assembling, but can be figured out with a little thought if not. I personally love puzzles so I enjoyed the process. It is well worth the price :)
