  • Perfect for Ekit - with a little added support
Purchased this for my son's first gig. Has a Roland Vad306 kit. Reading other reviews, it does have plenty of room for his kit. Plenty of partitions to keep things separated and spaced. The picture on Amazon of it having a luggage handle is a lie - it has wheels and a strap to pull it. That works pretty well. But, the bag as a soft spine... Feels firm, but any real weight will make thr bag buckle and sag. So, I built a 36x16x16 pvc Frame. Used 1/2 inch piping and connectors. If you measure correctly, it fits perfect. It add a little weight, but it definitely feels more secure and safe for traveling around. And, you can put things on top of the case without worrying about crushing the equipment. Pvc ran me about 30 bucks and about 30 minutes cutting, but well worth it. I'll update this as we use it more.... ... show more

  • Perfect for E- Drums
I’ve been playing drums since 1960 and I’ve had many drum kits from a variety of companies. I now have a hybrid Roland TD 27/306 kit which I love. Suffice to say that other than the 18 inch bass drum and 18 inch digital ride cymbal all the drums and the module as well as my kick drum pedal and a few other items fit very well into this case. They are quite heavy but the case is very solid and the wheels are a gift. I recommend it ... show more

  • It’s great! But it’s a beast!
This case works great to pack up my Alesis Strike Pro set. All drums and cymbals fit in with separators. I can even put my snare stand in there. Only negative is that it could use a handle on both sides to use when you’re lifting it in my Jeep. If you’re not strong you’ll need help! I had an issue with one of the wheels and their customer service was outstanding!! ... show more

  • Lots of dividers for protection
Very happy with this purchase. Confident that the drum kit will be well protected during transport.

  • Just what I was looking for
I needed something to pack all my Alesis Strike pro drums because I'm moving. I was able to fit all 5 drums and 5 cymbals and cables. These are open case and closed case pictures. The wheels make it easy to move around. (For the rack and hardware I used a GoHimal golf travel bag with wheels because it was the only case I could find that was long enough to fit the length of the rack sections which are 48" long.) ... show more

  • Excellent drum bag
Good space for all electronic drums parts
Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2024 by Juan Aponte

  • Almost good
Honestly, I expected a lot more from this case.. I play edrums at my church every Sunday. I wanted a case so that I could easily pack up my kit and take it home to practice during the week. Unfortunately, there's not much out there specifically for hauling around electronic drum kits. I saw this and saw Gator and immediately thought about some of the other excellent Gator products I have. Despite the mixed reviews I went ahead with the purchase. THE GOOD: At first, I was very pleased with the bag. It's big, lightweight, has large pockets, and has interchangeable inserts for custom configuration of the main storage area. The bag material is thick and padded. There's a variety of handles on the bag allowing for multiple ways to carry or pull it. It also has two wheels on one side. THE BAD: Wow where to start. First of all, the picture is very misleading. It makes it seem as if the bag has some sort of inner "skeleton" that helps the bag hold its shape. Wrong! The bag sags terribly which causes a number of issues. The saggy baggy makes it difficult to get the inserts to velcro to the inside of the bag (yes the inserts are velcro). That's a minor inconvenience and one that I can easily look over. The second problem is the flimsiness of the bag makes it very difficult to lift, say, into the back of a vehicle, or up stairs. If you don't lift it exactly right, everything inside will shift towards one end, even with the inserts in place. Even this is a small pain but hey there are wheels so for the most part it's only a problem when you are lifting the bag. ....Except that when you angle the bag to pull it on the wheels, the bag bends in the middle and drags..To make matters worse, the wheels are very small and sometimes the sag in the middle actually makes the bag not roll at all. The rolling aspect of the bag is extremely frustrating and I find it hard to understand how this was overlooked in the design process. Like another reviewer, I think I will need to build some sort of pvc skeleton to make the bag hold its shape. Overall I think this bag has a lot of potential but severely suffers from some critical design flaws. ... show more
