These have worked out very well for our indoor gas fireplace. They haven't burnt up or given off any foul smell and glow red after the fireplace has been flowing for a little bit. There were enough to fill the space. All in all a great product, and very happy with the purchase. Thank you!

Perfect for ammunition can type of gas pit This is not for a home gas fireplace as the logs are tiny . The only problem I see is that they do not get red as per description, they actually turn charcoal black , so realistic that if you touch it your hand will be completely black ,Kind of worry about that since that back powder could be cancerous. I’m using disposable gloves to handle them , I even wash them with hot water and a lot of black stuff came off, not sure they need to be seasoned but for sure not realistic RED . I’m on the fence on this item, if anyone knows of another brand that does get red and not that nasty black pls let me know. I will keep using it for a while to see if they get better. Anyway its Amazon so plenty of time to assess before return so not stressed out 😂😂 I will update soon Cheers 🥂

The product is lightweight and glows when the flames are on. The color and texture is ok for the price point. The logs are of seemingly random shapes, the ten log set has two of every shape. I could not get them to stack in the fireplace in a visually pleasing way. The largest logs are pretty flat. It would be nicer if there were three larger round logs to form a base for the smaller ones. In my fireplace they would not stand up enough to stack other logs onto because they are so flat and lightweight they fall over. They might work ok in a firepit. After spending four hours trying to get them to stack I threw them out. The designers should rework them so that they make a traditional stack as well as looking ok when tossed randomly in a fire pit.

I bought these new logs and every morning I woke up to soot all over everything thats vinyl such as toilet sear, shower walls and other items throughout my house. I took the logs out and now just use the burner of the ventless gas fireplace and no more sitting on soot. I should returned them for my money back.

I needed to replace the logs in my natural gas fireplace and I couldn't beat the money for these. They arrived quickly. But, they are 1/3 the size of my original logs. We got creative in placing them and to my surprise... I love them. Granted, we've only been using the fireplace for a month so far so I can't say how long they'll last compared to larger logs. But, I still have extras to add if needed. Not disappointed, just wish I would have seen a more obvious sizing chart on these. Still, way worth the money, so far.

If on high the flame is visible, but lower the flame and it is not very visible. Would also be nice if it could produce colored flames. Does not say if it safe to cook marshmallows.
