All China LED lights have one common flaw. Their electronics are built with the lowest grade parts and result in high failure rate. We won't get the 13 years they claim. I know becoz I'm a power electronics design engineer! So I won't comment on the Value. Time will tell. Second just like all electronics this one also has poor workmanship. I saw one light was not working. Of course it's wire to connector was bad. And came out. I joined them with wire nut and it was OK. Third, this spring clamp is poor. It pushes outwards. Horrible. And there's no instructions Included. I had to learn on the job. It takes a few horizontal twists to get it right and fit well. The Bezel is Deep. It's should have been flat with the outer ring. Overall good product for $6 each. I colored the rim with copper like finish. See attached Pic. Suggestion: offer gold, brass, platinum silver, copper and a few styles. It goes well with decorated roofs. HyKolity? Don't know. Time will tell. I'll update after one year ... show more

    • Too bright and too much flicker
These could be great if you need cheap lights for a garage or somewhere with really high ceilings. In our living room they are kind of obnoxious for a couple reasons. First, while the install is easy, it does not engage very well. If I leave them up I expect I will use caulk or something to stick them to the ceiling. Second, they are extremely bright if they are within sight. We have standard 8 ft ceilings and we get a lot of glare. If they were high enough to be out of view I think this could be fine. Third, dimming produces fairly noticeable flicker. Any amount of dimming leaves me seeing tracers for anything moving quickly. If that doesn't make sense think of waving your hand back and forth with a strobe light running. Some people might not notice this but it is very noticeable to me. I was expecting to just dim them if they were too bright so this is a big problem for me. The glare and flicker have me looking for alternatives. ... show more

    • Warm and bright light trims
I have been waiting for these LED trims to come down in price. I saw these on daily deal and bought two dozen. I installed them and I was amazed at how bright they are, much brighter than LED bulbs for recessed lights I bought two years ago. I bought a dozen more to change all at my house. I cannot say how durable they are, but they are good quality and bright and easy to install. ... show more

    • Bright, Clean light
Easy to install. I replaced 6 inch recessed CFL lamps with them. I bypassed the ballast and spliced the new wires to the household Black and White wires and popped the new assembly in. Perfect fit. Looks great in my kitchen! The cost per unit was lower than replacement CFL bulbs or direct replacement LED bulbs (even more expensive) and draw less wattage as a bonus. I was concerned with the lower lumen rating but they are actually brighter than the higher rated CFL bulbs (that were old and failing - may have been brighter new). ... show more

I purchased 2 boxes, I think 12 a box for 60$. Maybe 2 were warped, they dim really low which I have to have. LEDs however don’t give of the nice warm colors of a incandescent bulb just yet but I dig these anyway and I don’t have to change them anytime soon. I’ll shoot a video and post

    • Not honoring 5 year warranty
Purchased January 6, 2021 they said there was a 5 year warranty had one fail on 10/7/23 it says Product support window closed on January 8, 2023 the math does not add up Should be under warranty until 1/6/26. I have no way of contacting the company. if this post is still up the company has not reached out and resolved the failed light under there claimed 5 year warranty ... show more
