Got this in and before installing it, I had to switch out my original lock tumbler in order to use my same original key. Was about an hour process, had to hog out the whole to fit my original tumbler which is slightly bigger than an 1/2" or 13mm hole. Wish i had a 14mm drill bit. The products tumbler is skinnier must be like a 10 or 11mm. Anyways after doing that process I then decided to mount it. Well for the most part its fits and is fine but the cap portion sits about 1/4" above the ring mount so its not flush with the surface. Guess i will have to live with it. My original cap the key cover had broken and i didnt want to leave my bike out to get rained on and rust out the key hole. I would recommend as long as you dont mind a little imperfection but if you expect this to fit your bike perfectly then no. ... show more

The gas cap looks very well built. Came with screws and two keys. It bolted on no problem to a VZ 800 tank. However I cannot close and lock the cap. The tolerance is way too tight. I think with a little bit of grinding and finesse it'll fit.
