I knew what I was getting when I bought this (pressed sawdust, thin veneer), but it was inexpensive, it fits perfectly in its designated space in my room, and it functions as it should. That said, it's a top-heavy piece and it MUST be anchored to the wall. It assembles in two sections, then the sections are put together. While the top section felt sturdy, the bottom section felt like it was going to fall apart. Given that the top section is much heavier than the bottom section, I questioned whether the bottom section would be able to support the top section once it was put together. In one of the photos, you can see that the top section has a cross brace piece inside the wardrobe; the bottom section does not have this and it would have greatly benefited from it. Still, when the entire thing was put together and anchored to the wall, the whole piece felt secure. CONS: The instructions need more clarification on certain areas because some of the foundation pieces have many holes on both sides and the illustrations did not do a good job of representing the holes on each side. As a result, I experienced putting certain pieces on backwards and having to unscrew them much later in the assembly. Also, the wood dowels that came with this piece are terrible; they're too small and they fell out of the holes as I was trying to join pieces together. Many of them snapped in half, so I had to use ones that I had on hand from previous furniture assemblies. The bar to hang clothes does not stay put, so I had to put felt on both ends of the bar to wedge it into place securely. PROS: It looks nice, it provides the storage I need, and it's fairly easy to assemble, even with some trial and error. At the end of the day, I'm satisfied with the wardrobe and it suits my needs. ... show more

I love the look of the cabinet. It's not as heavy duty as I'm used to but budgets are tight. I imagine it will last a few years. I cannot for the life of me get the door to align. I have tried everything. I have these types of door hinges on other things so I know how they work, but nothing works. For the price or is decent and I just ignore the door spacing. ... show more

This was very much needed in my gym room. I use it for gym equipment. I don't like leaving out things like my ropes and straps, and this has been amazing at keeping everything clean and organized.
