Overall, this is a really great kit. My husband and I are a handy couple and we built this in about 4.5 hours. Things you'll probably want to have to make this process more enjoyable: power drill, rubber mallet, handsaw (maybe). It arrives in 3 boxes - all three came on the same day. They're well labeled pieces in each box with directions and it's kind of like adult Lincoln logs. There will likely be times where the groves or interlocking sections aren't perfect. That's where the handsaw came in for us. Sections where the wood panels for the bottom half needed some modification with the saw to widen the space and some encouragement from a mallet comes in handy. I actually ended up using an old chunk of 4x4 that was laying in my hard for my hammering. The wood is very soft so you cannot force things too hard - or they will break/chip/split. Things started to get a little wonky on the roof portion, but everything ended up coming together fine with some creativity and extra screws. Since we freestyled a little on the roof, the provided brackets didn't quite do what they were intended - so I plan on reinforcing that with some other elements to improve the sturdiness. I think it looks sharp and has good space. It's early in the growing season in Alaska so I just have things stored in here while my plant starts keep growing inside my house. One of the things that impressed me the most was the door. I was expecting to have to fuss with it to get it right, but just with a little shim on the bottom to screw in the hinges, she was ready to go. The hardware for the handle is really nice as well. It's designed in a way where you wouldn't be able to lock yourself in there on accident. Overall, this is a great budget option for a structure. Will this last years? Probably not, but I think it will last at least 2-3 seasons. Would I buy it again? Yes, I think for how it comes together and the purpose it serves with how nice it looks, it's worth it. Other greenhouses in my area this same size were going for $3500 +.
