I am extremely happy with this Garvee 2 Person Hammock With Stand. From the moment it arrived, it was clear this is not a flimsy or lightweight set. The package has some real weight to it, which actually gave me confidence that the materials inside were substantial. Once assembled, that impression was confirmed — this hammock is solid, stable, and clearly built to last. The stand is made of heavy-duty steel and feels incredibly sturdy. It easily supports two adults without any wobbling or flexing, and it’s rated for up to 450 lbs. Two adults could fit comfortably with plenty of room to stretch out. At no point did it feel unstable; once the included tiedown ropes were in place. The balance ropes are a thoughtful feature that really does improve stability when shifting positions, reducing sway and helping it feel secure. The fabric itself is another highlight. It’s soft and breathable, making it comfortable even on warmer days, but it also feels thick and durable — not thin or disposable. The material seems weather-resistant, and after leaving the stand out in the rain one night, I was impressed to see no signs of rust at all. The finish on the steel frame still looks great, which speaks to the overall build quality. Assembly was straightforward and surprisingly easy. All the parts fit together smoothly and click securely into place. It comes with instructions, but honestly, they’re barely needed. Even if you’re not particularly handy, you can have this fully set up in under 10 minutes. The hardest part for me was to get the arc shaped stretcher rods inserted into their pockets; since the fit is pretty tight initially. It’s just as easy to take apart if needed, but I left the stretcher rods in place. Everything still fits nicely into the original box if you are storing for a long time. While the overall set is sturdy and substantial, the stand is designed well enough that I can still reposition it around the yard by myself. It is all firmly attached, and is rugged enough to handle a little dragging or shifting around. One of the best features is the freestanding design. No trees are required, which makes it perfect for patios, backyards, poolside areas, or even indoor spaces if you have the room. It gives you complete flexibility in where you want to relax. Just be sure to place it on level ground before getting in — it makes a noticeable difference in comfort and balance. The included pillow is also a nice touch and actually useful, not just an afterthought accessory. Combined with the spacious design and supportive fabric, it makes lounging genuinely comfortable for extended periods. They also include a package of some extra items which could get lost over time, like endcaps, pins, clip spring. Overall, this hammock delivers on all fronts: strength, comfort, durability, and ease of setup. It feels safe, well-built, and designed for long-term outdoor use. If you’re looking for a roomy two-person hammock with a truly sturdy stand that doesn’t require trees, this is an excellent choice. At this price point, I am really surprised to find a hammock and stand of this quality. Great value, and five stars all the way.

I own a LOT of Garvee furniture and home items at this point and honestly I’ve had really good experiences with the brand overall. Most of my Garvee items so far have been indoor furniture, but recently I started getting more outdoor pieces too. This hammock setup is so nice. I got the blue striped version with the stand and I love that it comes with a pillow, an attached hanging side pocket and even a carrying bag. The carrying bag actually makes it really convenient because technically you COULD bring this places like the beach or camping if you wanted to. I personally plan on using it as part of a permanent backyard setup once we buy a house later this year. I already bought a gazebo for our future backyard space and I can absolutely picture this hammock under the gazebo or I can move it out into the sunshine depending on the day. I also LOVE that the chains are adjustable because you can customize how loose or tight you want the hammock depending on comfort. It’s rated for 450 lbs too which means me and my husband can comfortably use it together or one adult can fully lounge without worry. My daughter actually specifically wanted a hammock too, so I already know my kids are going to be obsessed with this. I can’t wait to have a real backyard space where we can finally set everything up properly and enjoy it together.

This is a really sturdy hammock stand! It's easily assembled by joining the steel parts that are clearly labelled and then hand-tightened with big bolts that don't require tools. It's a good quality stand because it's stable and doesn't exhibit any wiggling or looseness once it's fully tightened. It's also adjustable depending on the size of the hammock that you have. The travel bag is a nice touch, but truthfully I'm not sure how often one would move this, BUT I would definitely put it away in the winter time. Value-wise, this is great to have. Hammocks are fun and given a quiet backyard, it's a very comfy place to hang out.

This hammock stand is exactly what I was looking for. It feels very sturdy, supportive, and secure once assembled, with no wobble or instability. I also really like how easy it is to move between indoor and outdoor spaces, which makes it very versatile depending on the weather or where I want to relax. I will probably be returning these Hammocks. I chose them specifically because I thought it would have the no flip straps( they’re pictured) and the carrying bag (also pictured). There were others very similar that were less expensive. I paid the extra for the extras. But the quality of the frame looks good, I haven’t used them though. The topper that you lay on is 100% polyesters, and feels cheap.
