These things work a treat. They catch the little fruit flies so you can easily dispose of them. There are a lot that come in a box, so you have plenty of replacements. Just stick in the soil and let it do its thing. The cutout designs are cute as well

I’ll spare you the photo of one that’s been in my potted plant, but I will tell you that it trapped hundreds of the fungus gnats that come from house plants. These are so easy to use and effective. Basically you stick in this double sided sticky fly trap into your potted plant soil and the flies somehow are attracted to the yellow color and will stick to it. Once you think it’s gross enough with the amount of flies and gnats it has caught, simply pull out, discard and insert a new one. This will control the amount of gnats flying around but does not eradicate them. Use this (which traps adults) in conjunction with a mosquito bits treatment (which kills larvae) in your soil and it will help keep your home fungus gnat free or not as infested at the very least.

Well, I'm disgusted, which means it's working. I do not even want to know where all the tiny fungus gnats stuck to these came from! I'm not the World's Best Plant Mom. But I like plants. I noticed a couple of my plants were attracting tiny gnat things, so I researched it and discovered that overwatering, or bringing in plants from other places, can cause fungus gnats to thrive. GROSS. And possibly deadly to plants. Bummer. Naturally, I also researched what to do about it, and found that sticky traps work as well as anything, so I bought a set of these and set them up. They're pretty easy to assemble, although buyer beware - the yellow leaf things are sticky on BOTH sides. For some reason, I didn't expect that. But it worked out. With minimal sticking to my fingers, I got the sticky leaves situated in the green plastic stakes. It took a while to see progress, but eventually I saw more than I wanted to. It's a good thing that this kit comes with extra yellow sticky leaf thingies, because unfortunately I have a need for a second round of sticky-trapping the little buggers! Overall, these are doing their job, and I think they would work well for most smaller plants. Not sure if a larger size is available, but if you have a bigger plant with a lot more soil, you might need to use more than one in a plant, look for a larger sticky trap, or try a more aggressive method.

Works well to catch those little fungus flies from damp plant soil as well as slightly larger fruit flies, does not do well for larger flying bugs. I like that these have both an inside stick and outside stick surface to maximize the catching area when using the little green sticks. My only issue is trying to get the tapes off to expose the stickiness. It can be done but it does take some time to separate the two. I have also used them without the green stick and stuck them on the edge of the pot to catch even more of those little nats. These really work to help eliminate that nuisance.

I had fungus gnats in a couple plants I brought indoors after the summer. For as tiny as they are, they're a big nuisance. I tucked one of these in both plants and just like that, problem solved. These traps have a lot of stick to them! I don't know the chemistry behind why the gnats are attracted to them, but they are. As a bonus, the packaging and presentation of the product is very nicely done.

I’m so impressed with how well this works!! There are so many pieces too! It only took 1 days and the gnats are all gone!!! I put a couple in all my plants, and they are covered with dead gnats now!! Love this product! I can’t say enough good stuff about it.

We put these around our kitchen to get rid of fruit flies. They didn't get as many as we'd liked, although some did get stuck on them. The more annoying part about them was it was hard to put them in many places...they stand up well in a plant, but other than that it was somewhat difficult to place them around the kitchen. I ended up putting them on the fruit directly and on coffee cups. I guess they worked well enough. I imagine they would kill the wrong kind of bugs in a garden. We wouldn't want bees getting stuck to them if used outdoors. Definitely indoor use only.

I was skeptical, but it does work if placed correctly. Not only gnats but a mini spider too was caught, gross! I’ve had they on for for 3 months and they remain sticky. Noticed it easier to place on the soil when it is wet for firmer stability.
