(I always use the towel until I cannot detect anymore makeup). Then I did a second clean immediately after. The round pad on the right is the Garnier Micellar Water on a 100% cotton cosmetic round (you don’t need much). Yipes! I didn’t realize I was missing so much and going to bed with a dirty face. I have used this product for about a week with no skin sensitivity at all and it leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry. As a senior person, I only recently heard of Micellar water. I've looked it up in several different places and still don't completely understand what it is. It's a chemical creation. It removes ever speck of makeup on my face but I think what I'll do from now on is wash my face with tap water and liquid face cleaner and then use the Micellar water as a 2nd cleans. I'm just going through it too fast when I'm removing make up. What I love about it is when I've just gotten up in the morning and use it, even though I don't have any makeup on, I can see that the 2x2s are slightly dirty. I cleaned my face the night before so it must be dead skin from sleeping plus the night time moisturizer I used the night before. I have used this product for years and it has never disappointed me. It always gets the job done and removes my makeup gently and with ease. To avoid rubbing and irritating your skin, I recommend soaking a wetted cotton pad on the area you wish to cleanse that has hard-to-remove makeup (like waterproof mascara, waterproof eyeliner, or highly pigmented eyeshadow) for at least 15 seconds before wiping.
