This item was broken inside the sealed manufacturer box. The cover over the side speaker was loose and rattled. Very bad quality control from Garmin.

    • Switched from Solar to AMOLED – Better Fit for Everyday Use with Minimal Trade-Offs

I currently own the Solar version but have decided to switch to the AMOLED model. While the Solar variant is excellent for maximizing battery life—especially if you're outdoors for at least 3 hours a day—it comes at the cost of aesthetics. When you're in the right conditions, it definitely helps extend battery life, but if you're not, the AMOLED version isn't too far behind in terms of battery performance. Since I spend most of my time indoors with occasional outdoor activity, the AMOLED version makes more sense for my lifestyle. I’m willing to give up the solar charging feature for a more vibrant display and overall better visual experience. All in all, it’s a great watch with amazing battery life. TL;DR: Solar extends battery life if you’re outside enough, but AMOLED isn’t far off and looks way better indoors—great watch either way. ... show more
