This fit my needs like a glove. This unit is easy to use, I have yet to have to read the online manual to do or adjust anything. It allows me to map and mark all of the spots that I pick up fish while trolling. Once you have made a few passes and have a map made up, you can fallow the same route along edges and ledges and it is accurate to a few feet. This is a huge advantage in lake trout fishing. You can skirt underwater structure, and get your lure in the "Strike Zone" consistently. I wish I had bought this years ago. The only draw back is that it will not keep a depth reading at speeds above 15 MPH, which would be great for mapping. But is steady, rock solid at trolling speeds.

My husband is very disappointed, he has used Garmin for years and when we order this and type maps of the Caribbean it says not recognized, it only shows a line to wherever you went you can't store locations or set a course to travel to,and that's the point of a GPS, no guidance on this one,you will be lost at sea.Dont buy! We wasted our money.

This thing is incredible. Easy to see in the day. Easy to adapt the screen to your likes, worth every dollar. Keeps a clear image at all time, while at a slower speed of course. Amazing downvu.

if you just want a fish finder and the ability to quick draw maps then its ok. but i wish i had bought the model that has WIFI to update the unit and maps, or a chart card/memory card slot would be nice, i would get the model that has WIFI to get updates. for the trolling motor bow location its ok, don't expect to navigate with this model its strictly a fish finder with thew ability to mark locations and quick draw a lake map.
