  • Complicated to use
Style: Gray with Blue Band
While a nice watch is is very involved to use and complicated. Tiny manual provided so I recommend downloading the PDF version. Not very user friendly with so many features and navigation can be tricky. Surprisingly, it displays well in sunlight.

  • Almost all bells and whistles of Fenix 6 Pro, soft steel bezel
Style: Gray with Blue Band
To start with I never planned to use the watch for boating or sailing in first place but mostly as multi sport tool. In a nutshell, Quatix 6 gets you as close to Fenix 6 Pro as possible except minor pool swimming features. Comes with really pretty watch faces, blue band, Gorilla Glass display, stainless steel bezel unlike the black coated of regular Fenix 6. So far has been stellar in runs, bike rides, overwhelming presentation of data analytics about my training progress. Really impressive how Garmin optimized the presentation of all that data in few lines and graphs. GPS locking times similar to my trusty Fenix 3, music sync with Spotify playlists, maps look surprisingly visible on such a compact display. Speaking of display size, after years with Fenix 3 I would probably like to see Quatix 6X with an extra inch of display real estate but just a matter of personal preference. The bad - the watch bezel got deep scratches after weeks of normal usage, like few runs and bike rides. In comparison, good old Fenix 3 has survived multiple triathlons, bike crashes, trail runs, you name it, got scratched properly but at different level of effort. Expected a bit more durability from Quatix 6. ... show more

  • Screen resolution is shocking!
Style: Titanium
This watch is very powerful in terms of design, materials and settings. However, the screen resolutions is really terrible! Very low resolution and the watch faces don’t look really good! To be honest i was shocked at the moment I switched it on for the first time! Although I like it’s settings a lot and how it captures very small details nicely, I’m feeling sad for the screen resolution :( The screen of my cheap Huawei GT Watch 2 is way better!! And it has costed me only 30% of the Quatix’s price… Given this, I think this watch is overpriced and not good value for money. ... show more

  • Larger than expected & solar not that effective
Style: Solar with Titanium Band
I chose the Quatix 6 Solar having eyed my friends' non-solar models....the battery life of which (or more like the need to remember to charge it) was an issue for them. Straight out of the box I was surprised that the solar model has a bigger face and is chunkier than the non-solar model - neither in a good way. It's almost too large for daily wear. The disappointment continued when I discovered that whilst the solar feature surely extends battery life, it can not be used to charge the battery alone - ie if the battery dies, you can't leave the watch in the blazing sun and expect it to fire up. Maybe both of these matters were covered in the product descriptions - in which case my fault for not doing the research. As for features - having buttons is much better than the touch screen vivio3. The heart BPM bears little resemblance to that detected by my Garmin chest strap HRM. I wouldn't spend the extra SSSs for the marine charts when there are plenty of good free phone based navigation apps available. Otherwise tracks my bike rides, hikes, sailboat racing and cruising perfectly. ... show more

  • Great.
Style: Solar with Titanium Band
I already had another model of Garmin watch. This a big step up and oh boy....What a step up. Easy to set up. I ordered the metal band and found that it also comes with the blue plastic band. plenty of extra links in band to adjust to any wrist. Features took some time to get used to and i am still finding new things as I navigate the options. ... show more

  • Nice Nautical Watch
Style: Gray with Blue Band
A nice watch - a little pricey, but it interacts with Garmin autopilots and it acts as a repeater for boat data from later model Garmin MFDs. It is rather easy to use once you become accustomed to its five buttons. It synchronizes time with your phone or with GPS satellites. You can switch quickly to UTC or to other time zones you choose. You can save a position (MOB); I would like to be able to remember a time or several times including seconds for later recall. ... show more

  • Only for small wrist size
Style: Gray with Blue Band
Not much to say the quality and the build. But the size could have been the same as Fenix other versions 51-52mm

  • Great on the boat
Style: Solar with Titanium Band
I use my watch on the boat and connects beautifully. Also the battery life is much better than the competition, a great watch with many apps and widgets.
