I had a fenix from 2018 and lived it, but the fenix 8 is an evolutionary beast of a watch. Durable, fashionable, and super functional. It has great features like sleep teaching, daily summaries, phone integrative options, and customizable widgets. I use it to track my sleep quality, run training, gym workouts, and answer incoming texts/ calls.... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Absolutely love this watch. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Long battery life, helps plan workouts, and tracks everything you want in a fitness watch. It’s my first Garmin watch and definitely will be sticking with the brand. I’ve had it almost a year now and the battery still lasts almost 8/9 days. This thing is a beast—in the best way. The AMOLED screen is stunning, bright even in full sun, and the sapphire glass means I’m not stressing about scratches. Battery life is exactly what Garmin promises—I can push it hard for training and still not need a charge every night. It tracks everything: running, swimming, cycling, hiking, even diving. The GPS locks quick and is dead accurate, and the built-in flashlight is one of those features you didn’t think you’d use… until you do. Had this watch for many months now so enough time as basis for honest review. Fyi - i had apple watch and fitbit before fenix8. It’s a great watch for sure - full package health and advance smart watch features, durability and style. I wear it everyday, everywhere and with any outfit (can dress up or down - with diamonds or plain gold ring 🥰) Love the no-subscription full package health tracking features (sleep score, body battery, heart rate and many more), built in flashlight, long lasting battery life (10-12days for me), find my phone, taking calls from it, Spotify in it, HD display, gps/map and many more smart watch stuffs. It does alarm if your stress level is elevated 🥰. Also installed iphone camera remote. Giving it a 4 star because it’s causing some irritation/itchiness to my skin, right under where the watch face sits (not on the band itself). Found a work around by loosening the strap 1notch. Suspecting that sweaty days could be causing it. So also made it a habit to wipe it with lens cleanser once in a while or after working out/hiking. Glad Health tracking statistics still look accurate. Fyi - I do wear it all day (even in sleep, only taking it off for charging and baths). I would still highly recommend it to a friend until Apple Watch cannot match the battery life and if you are into health stats. It’s convenient not to charge it everyday specifically on longer out of the country trips. ... show more
