I shopped around for something that would work to keep the stray squatter kitty warm and dry. This meets all the criteria. This one stood out from the others on Amazon because the doors zipped from the bottom up, which allowed me to leave a small opening for the cat to get in and out without letting all the cold and damp inside. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I don’t know how it will hold up in the elements, but the main goal is for it to last through the winter. The size was large enough to put two cat shelters inside in addition to a short cat tree (that he likes to lay on with his outdoor heated cat pad). I only added the tarp over the top because he was used to the tarp covering his “house” and it seems to make him feel safe and hidden from the wildlife since we live in a heavily wooded area with lots of woodland critters. So far it works well. We have rain and snow mix coming in and I feel much better knowing he can stay toasty and dry. You should note that it is not very heavy and will need to be secured during heavy winds unless you want to gift your neighbors a greenhouse. So after reading other reviews I was expecting the plastic to not fit and be too tight... that was not the case, it fit perfect! It was easy to assemble and the plastic housing fit perfect over the frame. My only guess is, the other people may not have inserted the joints correctly. I lightly tapped the ends at each connection and joint to make sure they were all in as far as they could go... it ended up very sturdy. ... show more

Bought this to cover a 5 ft tall mango tree during a freeze. Assembly was easy, this fit perfectly over it. It's been up for about a week so far, and it's working great 👍. A few conversations: I used larger stakes we already had to secure it, the ones that come with it just were not long enough for me to trust they would hold up in wind. The ties on the cover are somewhat short to tie, if you are just double knotting it, it's fine, but I don't want to have to undue a knot later so I sewed Velcro to them to make it easier to remove. Where the apex of the structure is covered (start of the zipper) seemed to me to be a place where eventually the plastic cover would rip, as you pull the ties down it was indenting the plastic, so I also reinforced that spot with ribbon to prevent it tearing in the future. Overall, great product straight out of the box, but with a few tweaks it could be excellent. ... show more

My 12 year old was able to get it done by looking at the image without need for instructions. The product is light, so it is easy to install. This was easy to assemble, easy to move, dimensions were accurate and most importantly: it's keeping my plants alive! The plastic is thick, zipper is smooth and overall it is well-constructed. For me it was a budget solution to winterizing my plants.

It was very easy to assemble. However there was an area where the material was not attached to the zipper. I called the company. They were very gracious and said they would send a replacement cover. Took 10 minutes to assemble. I built it and placed it overtop of a cluster of plants on our porch before putting the plastic wrap over. Directions were good, build was easy. Fittings and plastic cover are way better than I could have built at this price, and it has a zipper on two sides. Has stakes to hold down against wind if placed outside. Has velcro to hold unzipped doors up to allow air flow when not closed, which helps dry out the condensation build-up. I added a Bluetooth thermometer to keep track of the temps. The greenhouse keeps plants 7 degrees warmer than the outdoor air temp. Outside it was 45, in the greenhouse it was 52. I have a heat lamp aimed into the greenhouse as a test. With the lamp turned on, and aimed into the greenhouse, the temp inside is 60 degrees while the outdoor temp is 45. It took 25 minutes to hit 60. Temps are dropping down to 26 over night. The greenhouse should keep temps above freezing without the light. Holy grail would be a timer for my heat lamp that turns on for 20 minutes, every 40 minutes. UPDATE: Today it is 29 degrees outside and 48 degrees inside the greenhouse with the heat lamp on overnight. ... show more

There's a pipe missing from the package. It appears as though the bent pipes are bent inwards a little too much or just ill-sized for the rest of the pieces. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done with this frame as the pipes keep popping out of their joints and I can't use the frame itself with a missing pipe at the bottom either. ... show more
