These are great! I've been growing seeds for many years and these are by far the best large trays I have used. They are thicker than the trays you can find at the big box stores. The domes are strong and ventilation holes can be opened or closed to release moisture. I used them to grow milkweed seedling for a school project and they were perfect. We raised over 125 seedlings. I was able to wash and disinfect them and am reusing them right now. Still going strong!

The media could not be loaded. They come with a drainage tray so no leaks onto the heated seed mat. They are sturdy and made well. Easy to assemble. Plants grew good and roots had room to expand

Compared to other trays I’ve used, these are more durable and a better value. The cell tray is rigid enough to carry on its own once filled with soil, unlike other brands that are flimsy and need a tray for support. I’m impressed with the adjustable vents on the lids. They snap securely in place and won’t fall off like others. The dome material is also thicker than other items on the market which was a pleasant surprise. My only gripes are that the cell tray does not sit tight within the bottom tray and shifts around slightly when handling, and if your not careful with handling, your cell tray can fall out. Likewise, the dome does not snap to the tray for a secure fit. It’s loose and can easily be knocked off or blown off by wind. The sticker strips they give to hold the dome on is just a half hearted solution to the design problem. Removing them to look inside your tray is a real hassle.

Perfect for starting my seedlings! I love the top which can keep in humidity but also can be opened. The drainage doesn't get on my countertops/Shelves. It has plenty of space to start each seed and can hold so many! Perfect height and easily cleaned with a rinse out and also stackable when not in use!

A complete set that includes the soil, 5 trays with 40 compartments each, a sturdy drainage tray and really cool clear plastic covers that can be adjusted from open to closed to adjust level of moisture. I used less than half the bag to fill all 5 trays. Within two week I had cucumber, carrot, pea and pepper and zinnia sprouts. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be ordering another set for my winter gardening.

The venting is useful and the size of the cells are ok for seed propagation. Unfortunately, the clear lids have already cracked and don’t securely close, which makes it difficult to move or stack them with ease. The price was ok but I won’t be buying these, again.
