I needed some more fencing to prevent deer from entering my vegetable garden. The 48 inch height is high as I’ve also suspended rope at a 6 foot level above it. This has kept the deer out. I’ve also cut sections of it in the garden for the string beans to climb. I’ve also used it to make circular cages around two new small trees that I planted. I connect the ends with small wire ties to complete the circle. The gauge of the wire is just right so as to make it easy to work with and still rigid enough to keep animals out.

This is the second set of fencing that I've bought which was stronger and heavier than the first set. However it says welded wire but I don't know what they welded it with because I could have glued it together with Elmer's and it would have done a better job. I don't know if it's old inventory or poor manufacturing, but do not buy this. Once it was all installed the smaller dog went up to the fence, opened his mouth bit at the fence and it shredded -:Just came apart like it was made of sugar.
