Well, I finally have that house with the white picket fence. Too bad it is only 4.6 inches tall. The fence not the house. That doesn't make it any less attractive or practical. In fact this white plastic edging is doing it's job admirably. We wanted to put in some rhubarb this year, but since it wants full sun it can't be next to the privacy fence, so we built an “island” in the back yard. It consists of two metal raised beds and this edging fitting perfectly between them, creating a new space where there was none. Why would we go to all this trouble? Two miniature dachshunds. Now a 4.6 inch tall fencing unit is not going to keep even these small dogs out of the growing area without a little training which is already taking hold. So I laid out and cut a strip about 22 foot up one side and then down the other. But when I stood back to admire the set-up, I noticed the edging's line was a little wobbly. So I think I am going to start over using some metal yard staples I have and place twice as many between the two types of anchors, and placing a little more tension on the row. I really don't think it is the fence; I think it is the lay of the land, so I will compensate. It truly will be overkill, but since both the pins and the lawn staples “disappear” when installed no one will notice anyway. Then the next and last step will be the mulch. I actually enjoyed working with this landscape edging. It is so easy to manipulate the roll into the shape or pattern you are imagining. It is very flexible for it's thickness and the 90 degree angled bottom is a secure system to employ. And should it suffer, say a stepping on, it bounces right back up and returns to it's place. I do have to say I prefer the metal “U” shaped staples to the 60 plastic pins/nails that are provided, but that's because I have highly compacted soil. The clips I will be using are 6 inches with a 11 gauge thickness. Once re-positioned, the edging will not be moving and will lay straight regardless of the ground's profile. Attractive, Effective and Easy. A pretty good trio of descriptors. And that's why I am giving this 33' landscape edging border 5 Stars.

This Garden Edging 33FT white square fence is a solid pick for my Fort Worth yard. The 4.6-inch height keeps mulch in the flower beds and stops grass from creeping over—no more constant trimming. Installation was straightforward: flexible enough to curve around my tree rings and walkways, and the included stakes pushed in easily with a mallet (though I added a few extras in rocky spots for better hold). The white plastic looks clean and crisp against the green lawn, almost like a mini picket fence without the upkeep. It’s held up great through summer heat and a couple thunderstorms—no fading or cracking yet. Great value for the length and look, definitely recommend for low-maintenance borders.

We replaced our old rhombus-shaped pavers with this white edging because my boys treated the pavers like treasure tiles. They were constantly flipping them over to look for bugs and relocating them all over the yard. It looked like archaeological ruins out front. This edging solves that problem completely. It stakes directly into the ground and actually stays put. Once it’s down, it’s not something they can casually lift and wander off with. It’s one continuous flexible vinyl strip, not interlocking pieces. I used a battery-powered rotary cutter to trim it to length, and it cut very easily and cleanly. The plastic feels thick and sturdy, not flimsy. I did use a mallet for some of the stakes, but in many areas I was able to press them in by hand and they still feel secure. Our soil isn’t especially soft, so that was a nice surprise. I didn’t use an edger beforehand, which I probably should have. Our yard is a little uneven, and without cutting a clean trench first, the base line isn’t perfectly sharp. That’s on me, not the product. I may pull it up and redo it with a proper edge for a more polished look. Other reviews suggest letting it warm up in the sun to make it more flexible. I installed it while it was still cool, and it worked fine, but I’m hoping once it warms up it will relax into the shape even better. Overall, it looks really cute and gives a tidy border effect. My husband isn’t thrilled with the look, but he was also constantly frustrated with pavers being scattered around the yard, so from a practical standpoint this is a huge upgrade. If you want something decorative that won’t get rearranged by small children (or curious gardeners), this is a solid option. Just take the extra step to edge your lawn first for best results.

Installs easily, and the stakes are included in the box. Cuts easily and cleanly with decently sharp utility shears, or a hacksaw. Be sure to leave it in the sun to warm up before you try and unroll it, and if you can leave it on flat concrete to warm up it will flatten out and become pliable and much easier to work with. It looks great, and really helps define the edge of a space in a lawn, plus it looks like a little fence. Great decoration, perhaps a good fence for ants too.

I was thinking this would be smaller than it was. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s sturdy and easy to install. It won’t keep the feral cats out but it does give a ice edge to your garden or front landscaping.
