Poe, my boy cat, tends to try and escape through the gap under our back fence. I got these to block that gap, and these are great for that. The fence digs into the dirt, so he can't dig under, and can sit close enough to the fence that he can't get between. I basically wet the ground and pressed them in. They aren't that high, but they are great for blocking the gaps.

These are very sturdy and well made little fence sections and the best part is you can use them separately in the spots you need them most. We have a fenced in home orchard but the bunnies love to chew holes in the bottom part of the plastic fencing material, then the other larger critters can get in too. We needed to patch up the bunny holes and prevent damage to our fruit trees and these metal fencing sections worked perfectly for that purpose. We used a rubber mallet to install them and they were easy to use in the spots we needed them for. There are zip ties and plastic clips to connect them together with if you need to, but we were glad they were separate pieces to work with. Black coated metal feels sturdy and blends in great outdoors.

I use the fences to hold up some of my outdoor plants. This type of fence works perfectly. They are strong and rustproof. I can leave the fence outside throughout the winter. A great find.

I have an area under my porch that's eroding a bit. Top it off with a puppy that wants to dog and I needed a barrier. This fits the bill Pros: Easy to stick in ground, comes with gloves to protect your hands, nice narrow distance between times. Cons: Thin.
