UPDATE: Think I read a review that commented on the pant pockets not being "real", both front and back pockets are real pockets. I really like these pants! There were a lot of different reviews so I was prepared to have to return them for what seemed like a lot of different opinions; I'm 5'2", 115 pounds and ordered 0 Petite - the length is a perfect ankle pant, and the fit is snug but not too much so, there is a 3% spandex content and I believe the fabric will loosen with wear, but will definitely wash in cold water and air dry since they fit perfectly before wash. Gap has consistent sizing and 6 always fits.. Super comfortable and I’ve worn them golfing.,Just ordered another pair in a different color. Just enough stretch fore picking up a golf ball. I’ll be wearing this comfy pair of pants often;-)

Very flattering fit however they do run small and were pretty high waisted on me, even though they are described as mid-rise. The material is nice but not super durable, I would not recommend this if you are in a very active job. I sized up one size from what I normally wear and it was perfect. I am a solid 8p or 10p pending fit, and the 10p fit perfectly. Nice cut and rise. I bought green and blue and want to wear to work. I wore the blue and half way through the day I noticed they had attracted all sorts of light colored lint and fuzz. They fit, so the sizing chart seems accurate. The description says "mid-rise" which, I guess is accurate if you don't mind 2-3 inches of material hanging below your crotch. If I pull them up, they look/ fit weird(er). The website material description says "100% rayon" which, feels more accurate than the actual label (see pic) indicating 97% cotton & 3% spandex. I felt zero stretch when I tried them on and sat down. In fact, even though they fit well for all intent & purposes, except for the issue I have regarding their claim that these pants are "mid-rise", the pants felt thick, heavy, and not breathable at all. Fyi, the crotch to waistband length of the size 12 pants is 11.5 inches. Seems pretty long to be considered mid-rise. My levi's boyfriend jeans are mid-rise, the crotch length measures at 9 inches without the baggy crotch, and they feel lighter, more comfortable than these pants. ... show more

After reading so many reviews that complained about the fit, I was worried, but decided to give these a shot. I'm glad I did, because they fit very well!. I'm 5'7"-117 lbs and typically wear a size 4 in pants & a 27 in jeans. They are versatile and look nice with dressy tops or casual tees and even in between options paired with a belt & jacket. My only word of caution is that I would not put these in the dryer because shrinkage on the length would alter the appearance & not in a good way :) ... show more
