If you've ever installed a light fixture before, this one shouldn't give you too much trouble, but if you're a newbie: ignore the instructions, they are garbage. You cannot connect the wires (listed as step 2) until you have assembled the canopy, downrod, shade, and sockets (listed as step 3), and threaded the wiring all the way through. I also suggest attaching the nipple for the glass shade and checking that it's positioned correctly for the nut to tighten (but hold off on installing both bulbs and glass until you've got the rest of the fixture wired and fixed to the ceiling). Aside from the crap instructions, this is a pretty nice light. It comes securely packed in a styrofoam insert in the box with the glass in a cardboard sleeve. I realized mine was a little bit out of round when I attached the glass, but it popped in without too much trouble. ... show more

I bought this light fixture for my living room. It looks stylish and not too modern. It's bright if you put in three lightbulbs. It's a bit difficult to fit three lightbulbs though. I would recommend getting smaller bulbs or else its very tight. Still looks great though!

This light is perfect. Modern, aesthetically pleasing and gives off a lot of light. Very easy to install, boyfriend did it in 25 minutes if that. It is also such a great price-point, looks way more expensive than it is. A great buy.

The round glass panel on the bottom had a brown stain that would not clean. This is highlighted by the light shining. The fabric/composite drum is dented. The wire frame is straight but the sides would not bend in.
