I bought this for a 12 foot fishing Kayak. The instructions are a bit confusing but there are not very many variations of how to put this together so even if you toss the instructions you would put it together in a way that it would work the same as if you did it as instructed. Seems that the only think that is affected is the measure on the shaft so that and keep it centered. Still difficult even with the measure marks so I just did it by eye. Close enough and I did not see any issues if it is slightly off center. How much it helps move your kayak seems like it depends on where the holes in you kayak are located. In my case it is at the rear and I can move it easy enough. Wish it had something to make sure they stay in the holes when you tip your kayak on the side or lift it up . I will probably come up with a modification of some kind. My other cart has a simple way that I do not think would add to the cost much and works great. I do this alone so it is not hard but does add to the the difficulty just a slight bit since I have to hold it into the holes until you can get som weight on the wheels. I have to put the kayak on the side and when rolling it to the wheels you have to hold the wheels in plance as you flip the kayak. Not a reason why I wish I did not get this as the other ones where you set the kayak on top of the wheels always was a pain to use since never really found a way to keep it from twisting. As far as how durable this is, I have to say its seems well built time will tell.

This kayak cart has been a great buy. It saves the bottom of your kayak from getting scraped up and makes transporting it way easier. Much better than dragging a sit-on-top around by hand, especially over longer distances. It’s simple to use, holds the kayak well, and takes a lot of the hassle out of loading in and out. Definitely worth having if you want to protect your kayak and make life easier.

Used it for the first time today on my 10’ lifetime tamarack angler kayak. It fit perfectly in scupper holes to get me to the water then I just turned it upside down and put them in the back scupper holes. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a kickstand to make it stand up straight, so I have to lift the kayak halfway and have my kids crawl under the kayak to put the trolly in. Other than that it works great, fits great and seems to be durable. I hope it won’t rust.

Great dolly for price. Strong, light, 1-2 mins to assemble and store. My tandem kayak is near 100lbs and that is no problem. The wheels work fine on hard surfaces, gravel and shell where I've been. I might look for Baloon type for loose sand....beaches. In a couple weeks of salt water use no sign of rust on stainless appearing parts. It's quick to adjust to the width of kayak supper cart holes, two stainless wing bolts. The unit floats which helps at the ramp. As you hold it underwater to find the kayaks holes it's buoyancy pops it up and holds it in until you drag the kayak out. This was much cheaper than Hobie units and seems to be a value.

Ordered this cart because of good reviews and it looked well made. Received it but had to return it. The rubber guides at the base of the poles did not fit into the bottom of my kayak. The scupper holes are narrow on the bottom of the kayak and it was not stable. They would not fit into the rectangle shapped holes. The cart was very easy to assemble and is well built. Just wish it had something besides the cone shaped support at the bottom of the poles.

Use Ganfindx Sit On Top kayak cart on my perception tribe 11.5 kayak. Adjusts to fit different width scupper holes on kayak, rolled across parking lot to sandy dirt path and across some deeper sand no issues. Yes since it goes into scuppers from underneath need to turn kayak on side to put it on, but that is easy. I put it behind seat under back bungies while on water. Pull strap thru wheels and caribiner to kayak so wont loose it to Davy Jones Locker. Solid heavier metal seems sturdy. Wheels are wider so handles sand or soft surface better. Would be quick to take apart uf put in hatch while on water. A good buy.

Very low quality metal and/ or craftmanship. I used it once and one of the upright bars snapped from the frame. It was 1.5 months after purchase, I contacted Amazon for a refund and was denied because over 30 days. I am going to try to spot weld the bar back to axle frame.

This product shipped quickly. It assembled in a moment. It is well made and solid construction. The problem that I have using it is that it is tricky getting it in place. Once I have it in, I find that the two vertical members are so short that it's all too easy for these wheels to fall off as I move the kayak around. If these were longer, I could attach a clip to the part that protrudes within the kayak. The product would be improved with longer stems and a clip of some sort to keep them in place.
